Santo, the iconic Mexican wrestler, actor, and folk hero, starred in a plethora of films that combined elements of lucha libre, horror, sci-fi, and adventure. His movies are cherished for their campy charm, thrilling plots, and the larger-than-life presence of El Santo himself. With an extended version of Santo vs. the Riders of Terror screening at Fantasia this weekend here’s a rundown of the ten best Santo movies:

HBO has secured another ratings hit with their new video game adaptation “The Last of Us,” and while it’s as exciting and epic as the original video game, it also has the distinction of having a Latino leading man. Chilean actor Pedro Pascal plays the protagonist Joel, who is tasked with trekking across the horrific landscape to help find a cure with young Ellie in tow.
