Gene Nelson can be seen uncredited as one of the G.I. students. He had already made a noteworthy debut at Fox as the dancing lead opposite June Haver in "I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now" (1947), but he did not hit upon another credited role until "The Daughter of Rosie O'Grady" (1950) three years later. In the interim, he appeared uncredited in "Gentleman's Agreement" (1947) and "Apartment for Peggy" (1948).

"Screen Director's Playhouse" broadcast a 30 minute radio adaptation of the movie on September 2, 1949 with Jeanne Crain reprising her film role.
Parts of this movie were filmed at the University of Nevada - Reno. Jeanne Crain was also there two years before for the filming of Cómo le conocí (1946).
