Michael Jackson Taught Kyle Richards How to Dance
2017-04-28T10:43:10-07:00Michael Jackson Taught Kyle Richards How to Dance

One of Kyle Richards‘ fondest memories of Michael Jackson is of the King of Pop teaching her how to dance … on her pool table.

“When I was a little girl I remember he taught me how to do the robot standing on my pool table in the den in my house,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recalled Thursday on “The Tomorrow Show.”

Richards, 48, forged a friendship with the King of Pop during his days with the Jackson 5, calling Jackson the “most loving, sweet, kind soul I’ve maybe ever met.”

One of Kyle Richards' early TV roles was in Little House on the Prairie.

'Glee' 100th episode party, On the Scene: Stars look back on 100 episodes, reveal whose song they would steal
Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley, and Heather Elizabeth Morris in Glee (2009)
When Glee first debuted in 2009, the Fox series incorporated music in a way that hadn’t been seen on television before. Without any big-name stars in the cast, the show was a definite risk. Now, more than five years and 100 episodes later, the risk has more than paid off. With a 3-D film, sold-out concert tours, millions of albums sold, and Billboard records broken, the cast and crew got together in Hollywood on Tuesday night — the same night the show’s 100th episode aired – with plenty to celebrate. EW was on the scene and asked the cast to look back...

A Gif Guide to Beck’s Greatest Dance Moves
Aprendiendo a Bailar (1953)
Not only is Beck an accomplished musician, able to successfully create great albums in very diverse styles, Beck is also a great dancer. But not a great dancer like Beyoncé is a great dancer – more like the greatest dancing uncle ever. Live, he shimmies and spins and glides around stage like a stiff and tired James Brown. It's quite a sight to behold! Sadly, Morning Phase, out today, is not one to dance to. It's more like sway-and-cry music. Here's a look back at Beck's best moves. Put on your dancing shoes, play "Timebomb," and groove the night away. The "I Don't Know How to Dance"When in doubt, just jump up and down. Maybe you'll accidentally figure something out. The "Stop, Breakdance, and Roll" The most effective way to put out a '90s fire. The "Confused Running Man"When you want to run, but don’t want to...

Ze Frank Rides Kickstarter Wave to $200K More in Funding
Ze Frank raised $500,000 in angel and venture-capital funding in early 2010 for Ze Frank Games. It’s a tech startup oriented towards leveraging what Frank learned from being awesome at the internet for over a decade (evidence of that awesome includes Young Me Now Me, The Show, How to Dance Properly, and more) and applying that knowledge to social gaming in the form of products like Star.me, a “platform that facilitates rich and deep engagement for brands and celebrities.” Ze Frank also raised $146,752 in Kickstarter funding in early March 2012 to resurrect The Show (his daily, year-long, highly interactive and politically-passionate-but-still-whimsical online video experiment that more or less ended in March 2007) and turn it into A Show (an at least-three times-weekly web series that's more or less the same thing as its predecessor except with a better camera and the use of more social media tools). And news just broke that...

Close up: What's Hollywood teaching our teens?
Adolescents learn a lot from films. So, lots to worry about there.

The big story

As teenagers Hollywood taught us everything. How to dance and sing. How to meet somebody. How to break up with them. The facts of life? Hollywood had that covered too. Like a sexier, savvier older brother with a pass to the coolest parties in town.

Little did we know, as we wound our way out of adolescence into extended adolescence, that Hollywood was dragging us into the gutter. At least, that's the colourful interpretation of a new study by scientists in Germany, who recently found that teens exposed to movies featuring alcohol consumption are more likely to drink to excess themselves. 16,000 students aged 10 to 19 from state schools in Scotland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland were quizzed on their movie watching habits by Reiner Hanewinkel and colleagues from the Institute for Therapy and Health Research in Kiel.
