In Chapter: 1, the window covers on the Overland Stage go from being rolled down to rolled up several times during the stage scenes.

In Chapter: 8, the stagecoach changes. The stagecoach that Buck rescues from the outlaws, is not the same stage he drives into town. Different horses leading it too.

Chapter 11 foreword states that the outlaws send the renegade Indians out to capture Buck and Mary. Wrong! They are there quite by accident, Buck sees a calf stuck in the side of a well and rides to free him, Mary spies Buck and races to meet him but is pitched from her horse. Buck picks her up and sets her down on the stoop and tends to her sprained ankle, seeing the Indians approaching they take refuge in a closet. The Indians and outlaws enter the cabin with no knowledge that Buck and Mary are there 'til much later.

Chapter: 15 Foreword, says; "...the outlaw's horses, returning riderless, warn the other henchmen." Not true. The horses never left. The outlaws came upon the horses. Foreword says; "...barricaded with their prisoners in the barn." Not true. There is only one outlaw prisoner.

In Chapter: 14, when the cougar leaps from the rock, a dog can be seen right behind the cougar. This cougar (and dog) later appear in Pantera brava (1949).

In Chapter: 9, during the cattle stampede, you can see the camera crew on the hillside filming as the herd runs by. This scene is taken from The Roaring West (1935).
