Abhay 3 is a crime thriller show directed by ken ghosh. These are the positives and negatives.

Performances:-the performances are top notch. Kunal kemmu has again given a standout performance. His calm nature, shrill intelligence really do take centrestage. Vijay raaz is awesome here. A mental patient leading an evil cult. He portrays the shades superbly. Nidhi singh is equally good. The supporting cast has done splendid job.

Screenplay:-the screenplay is engaging and really hooks you in. The scrrenplay holds it tight and never really lacks pace. So it is very engaging. It builds up the suspense in many scenes really well.

Background score and music:-the background score is exceptional to be honest. The howling sound during the cult scenes are really scary. The sound design is also great. In the last episode, abhay is drugged and he just listens some echoed sounds reflecting his drunk state. Its really good.

Cinematography:-the cinematography is as usul. Its good. But in the last episode, the blurred out sequence of abhay after being drugged is really great. So its good overall.

Editing:-the editing is where i feel they could have done better. There are multiple scenes where the lips do not match the dialogues and you can clearly notice it. The editing could have been better.

Dialogues:-the dialogues are also very very good. Especially during the cult scenes, the dialogues about death, moksh and all are really creepy. They do make us feel creepy. The dialogues have done their part.

Abhay is a show you definitely should not miss. I rate it 9 out of 10.

A good unveiling of high profile crimes and better than average performances by the entire cast. Kunal Khemu's portrayal of a Abhay, a no-nonsense brave cop, is just perfect.

First things first, This is a Crime show based on India so don't expect super-pro ism and super action content. This show is different because it shows crimes happening in Recent Present and are very well showcased

One of the best web series made in India . Acting is top notch, direction is excellent , story is very gripping . Not even a single dull moment . Keeps you engaged through out . 10 out of 10 stars . This series should never end

I love Kunal Khemu. He has always been my favourite and this show has made me love him more.

A must watch original script of crimes in UP. Kunal khemu and every villian of the story has done satisfying job.

Perfect casting, well paced and fantastic acting from everyone. The ending of the series is super thrilling . Enjoy!

One of the finest performance by Kunal Khemu.The stories could be disturbing for some but overall it was good. I hope Kunal makes more movies and series like this playing a tough character.

I have already reviewed season 2 from another account so I will review season 3 from this account .

Season 3 is back and as usual, Abhay Pratap Singh is again battling his past. However, he's up against a cult leader (Vijay Raaz) who brainwashes troubled minds and swears to commit harakiri with his followers on a comet night. Will Abhay manage to discover him before he forces innocents to commit suicide while he sends two of his followers to kill others out in the city. The catch here is..abhay has no clue about that leader it is only when he is brought in to get hold of two brutal murderers from the leaders kitty that he realizes something is wrong .

This season is slow paced and much less crazy brutal and gory than season 2. Season 2 goodness me was one heck of a crazy brutal gory ride which is why it was extremely gripping and fast paced. Season 3 starts off from where season 2 left where Asha Negi's character was caught finally kidnapping kids with Ram Kapoor. Season 3 is 50-50 Abhay's personal life and the cult leader angle. Hence I found this season a little underwhelming than season 2.

Still this season is quite interesting and the climax is also enjoyable although I would have liked a much better face off between Vijay and Kunal . The climax ends pretty quickly and it leaves you unsatisfied. You would have thought the series set up Vijay's character to be shrewd meaning the final face off would be one heck of crazy ride but ultimately the ending is underwhelming.

Nidhi singh and Asha Negi's part act as speed breakers to the main story. I never wanted their subplot to even exist. What I liked was the father son relation sub plot how it ultimately merges with the main plot.

Kunal Khemmu is made for playing Abhay. He's amazing . Rudra of Hotstar (despite being a copy) felt like Abhay. Vijay Raaz also does a fantastic job.

Overall, season 3 is definitely interesting but not as much as its prequel. Watch it definitely.

Its is so well directed. I am in love with scenes and shots taken. Much love.

Season 1 is seen by me. All 8 parts are only one pattern type that more slaughterer and less thriller. Every episode is focusing mainly on a psycho killer and his/her longer slaughtering scenes, where as Abhay solving such case very quickly. Such ratio losses impact of real thrill and totally missing interesting investigation part. Female characters are almost weird. Kunal Kemu is perfect but he needs to be real officer with controlled acting. Last episode (8) is best episode where in the ending a unexpected twist will wait you and very turned end. I like this only part. Overall it is a average series which lacks thrill in crime investigation and more focus on psycho characters with brutally cutting/ slaughtering part.

In one clipping,in Police Borad,picture of Indian Freedom Fighter,Bengal Pride, Martyr Khudiram Bose's picture had been used as a pic of a Criminal!!!How Dare you Director Ken Ghosh and Team!!!Shame on you guys, enjoying freedom at the cost of the life of Khudiram Bose and many other freedom fighters of India...If you can't respect, don't insult them...1star rating for your criminal mind Mr.Ken Ghosh...

I am not a big fan of kunal khemu but i liked his acting in comedy movies. But this series made me fan of him... Script was too awesome and i didn't feel bored at anytime because two stories were going on in parallel.one is crime solving and other is his personal life mystery.

Expecting one more season of Abhay.

After watching sacred games and mirzapur, I was looking forward for a better series, I might have gotten lucky because Abhay was exactly something I was looking for. Actors really did a great job and the suspense give me a enough of the thrill to enjoy the series.

Psycho thriller.The whole series is made up of short psycho base stories.The director did not make any story too long for no reason.The case is not very complicated, but the way to solve it is very nice.Ken Ghosh also has samples of his brilliant work here.👍

Chunky Pandey went here with one of the best performances of his life.If you don't see it, you really have to miss it.🙏👌

Bidita Bug should get more and more work.There is nothing to say about Ram Kapoor.The audience will judge when they last saw Ram Kapoor in such a character.👍

Seeing the reviews i had high expectations.. Utterly disappointed watching a below par web series..

Second season is extremely Violent and sort of unrealistic. No doubt, acting is very fine and Kunal killed it, but again, it's very violent.

You insulted Khudiram Bose. Everone should boycott this series or movie or whatever it is. SHAME on you.

This show brings such a rush to you that you cannot stop watching it. Great work!

Its quite bold and different for Indian audience.. Weird/cruel murders, psychopaths, cannibalism etc. which was uncovered for Indian audience.

Personally I haven't been a fan of kunhaal kemu but this one just wins the heart. I must say that the casting is great! All characters and the actors playing them are just so perfect! If you talk about the show then this series just shows latest in crimes. All the episodes inspired by true events. While it terrorizes you, it also makes you pause and think. Very new and unique and this is what indian OTT users would like to see!
