Promising start with snarky fitness gals chipping away at each other and setting up targets for future horror that you might want to see "get theirs." But once we get to the horror part it's more horrible than horror. Mindless sadistic acts by slow moving dumb antagonist that's completely unrealistic and not horrorific only dumb, brutal and numbingly bad. Couldn't sit through it. Not worth it.

Just couldn't believe I was watching something this aweful.how was this allowed to go ahead? Did this person even study film? Have these people studied acting? Im almost speechless. There wasnt one thing right about this whole film.. the plot, the music, the acting, the writing, no suspense, stakes weren't high. It goes on. Sorry guys i think stick to your day jobs

This Richard Connell rip-off of "The most dangerous game" is crinworthy yet hilarious. There is so much wrong with this film that you stop focusing on the story but start concentrating on the mistakes that even the simplest of amateur crew wouldn't make.

Some of the worst writing and acting I've ever seen, coupled with an absolutely idiotic plot. Not scary not tense, but certainly annoying. I have to reiterate how bad/unrealistic the dialogue was. It was painful to watch. Whenever I see a movie this bad I am at a loss as to how got made.

This movie had such possibilities but couldn't seem to "get" there. Did not
explain what was happening nor why is was happening. Jumped around from
one scene quickly to the other leaving you with so many questions. And suddenly it was time to end the movie so it just "ended"............ I do not understand why movies these days are not "thought through" to the very end. Someone just says "Let's make a movie" and it ends up being just awful when it could have been really good.

It's the story of a group of people lured out into the wilderness to compete in a fitness trial, only to then be hunted down by the landowner. I quite enjoyed this film. The main characters were all fairly interesting, and their deaths actually carried a surprising weight because of how brutal and realistic they were. Even a certain character whom I hated, I found myself rooting for. The acting was solid and authentic, it was well shot (lower budget but it all looked good), and the story pretty decent. Also kind of ironic the main character spent weeks getting into tip top shape only to have it all rendered ineffective by an injury early on.
Anyway to each their own, lots of negative reviews but I really liked this film.

It's like an episode of Hollyoaks.
Tries to be an edgy pursuit horror but fails miserably. Dreadful script, dreadful acting, editing and direction.
A very poor film.

OMG, I'd say the budget was a tenner and the acting was worth the same.
The bloke in it deserved what he got, two physically fit women and one bloke just took it. Literally could have walked over to the psycho and smacked her in the face with his tripod and that would have been that.
Absolutely pointless. Couldn't watch till the end, really made me shout at the screen.

I just watched this last night and i couldn't believe how really bad this miserable excuse of a movie was. My first question is how does this type of drek get green lit to be made in the first place? The only thing that i liked and gave one star as a rating was the actual idea of this movie psycho slaughters people in the woods ok its not original but this could have been done so much better .Better actors better script better directing .This was supposed to be a horror movie there was nothing scary about any of it .Also it was just too unrealistic the actual killer was a middle aged woman who looked just about as scary as a garden hose she looked like your next door neighbour or someones aunt watching her chase after this big burly dude who had just taken a beating from her and was crawling on the ground for his life was laughable .Personally i found the whole cast annoying i lost a whole hour of my life watching this tripe.

Got to be the worst, badly acted film ever. How do they get work when they churn out such rubbish. Beyond awful. The worse actor of all was the chronic Grace, the landowner, Jodi Colucci, with her awful accent and terrible attempt at acting. Bet she doesn't work after this and obviously was not chosen for her looks!
The most amazing thing though is how someone with a severely broken leg was able to walk so well and expel only a few screams at such pain - they do say fresh air makes you feel better.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

A question that all humanity answers deep in their subconscious but very very few are brave enough to answer and even fewer are brave enough to claim.
This visionary movie deals with more than words could explain.
That moment when I realised that it was not the deranged (and sensationally played) Grace who was the titular bone breaker but we were watching the origin of the bone breaker mythos via our final girl - who is the one who breaks her bone and the medium of cinema.
Highly recommended.

75 minutes is not a movie - I've noticed this a lot recently with newer films coming out as well. I guess if this was a film worth watching I wouldn't mind so much. Unrealistic, subpar acting, and a storyline that will put you to sleep. I did get a laugh at watching the killer lady trying to swing a sledgehammer, but that's all I got out of it.

Can't believe it, I was wasting my time watching this movie. I thot it was a horror movie but end-up watching a comedy movie. Why I said it's comedy? Because, the characters are treated as they're dumb and no common sense at all. A girl was just sleeping on the ground while she was haunted, another girl was so dumb that she kept bragging of herself (she didn't run) until she was struck with a crowbar by her psycho villain. And the other girl was just sitting inside her car not even calling her bf or anybody else by a phone and she just simply sit there with no effort at all to escape.
Well, this can be a good movie if not best if your audience is 7-8 years old. Unfortunately, this is not for mature adults.
Hope they can come up with a better script next time not just for kids but as well as for adults and teenagers.

To begin with, 'Bone Breaker' introduces us to a bunch of casually attractive go-getters whose dialogue consists mainly of motivational speeches and modern day cliches, either to themselves or their fellows: 'Not gonna lie', 'that's the badger', 'we only want people that look the part', 'I need to be taken seriously', 'I'm not just a pretty face'... and so on. It's established that in this clique, only pretties are allowed, only toned, fitness obsessed skinnies are wanted. On their vibrant platform of the internet, it's all about self-promotion and followers. If you like spending your time with people that talk like this, you'll enjoy the characters. Or not, of course - the bitchy exchanges between them encourage us not to take them too seriously. But really, their 'hashtag' quotes and exchanges and ideas about their own self-worth are *loathsome*. The gym-bods on very self-satisfied display are surely to be despatched by the mad hammer-dragger at loose in the woods as displayed on the DVD cover. That's the hope.
The pacing of 'Bone Breaker' is odd. The girls are attacked by someone who receives no-build up, and then left. The audience is then treated to drawn out scenes of them in varying degrees of pain, out in the biting wilderness (and it really does look freezingly cold). Their plight is communicated very well (especially Rachel, played by Sophie Jones), but there's no subsequent progression for ages, before the villain returns to administer a little more bloodless violence.
Exasperatingly, the girls actually see the killer as a fitness rival. "I'm better than you, faster than you," Ruby (Lucy Arden) taunts the weapon carrying psychopathic antagonist. Not only is this unwise, it demonstrates the swathe of the arrogance and shallowness displayed by the people we are supposedly meant to route for. There's no need to make our heroines this dreadful.
I noticed a location toward the end that seemed familiar - turns out 'Boner Breaker' is produced by many of the same team responsible for 'Dark Path (2020),' including writer/director Nicholas Winter. There are further similarities: a cast of mainly strong-minded females, with a handful of ineffectual males; pursuit through woodlands, and the finale, both of which end in a similar manner. My score is 5 out of 10.
