I'm not a massive fan of slice of life, but I instantly became interested in these six extremely well-written characters. Watching the main guy trying to figure out how to teach the girls is very entertaining. Also, this show surprisingly doesn't really have any fanservice shots, leaving more time to focus on the characters.
Sheesh and I thought it would be some degenerate harem stuff.
It's actually very wholesome. Cuteness aside, the show is about a guy committing to tutor a quintuplets who are on the verge of failing school.
The 5 girl characters were interesting and had different quirks. The first season showed how they complemented each other, which gave me an idea that this show would be more psychological and sci-fi that it seemed to be on the surface, like Bunny-senpai.
But season 2 shattered that thought. Instead, the show was just a wholesome and dramatic interaction between 5 gals who simp for a nerdy and chad guy (haha very realistic).
The simp was not what made the anime wholesome and enjoyable for me. It's the wholesomeness and the strong relationship between the sisters and the main guy that gave me joy and laugh through each episode. They all had different quirks, but at the end of the day they were still family united.
As for problems, some subplots had great potential that should be dived in a lot more. Like the dad character definitely could have been more intense, but it got rolled off.
Overall, let the sisters war continues. Can't wait for season 3. Go Team Miku. Season 1 7-7.5/10. Season 2 8-8.5/10.

This came out of nowhere. I'm not one to watch anime like this, but saw a random recommendation on Gogo Anime and here I am after bingeing both seasons praising it lol
I'm a bit older so I wasn't sure about the high school aspect but it kept me drawn in and entertained, was really quite surprised as I've tried watching a couple others similar to this but disliked the direction immediately.
The only complaint I have is who he ends up with, no spoilers, but I was definitely rooting for anyone else lol.
In all honesty, I was hoping the quintuplets would have came to a compromise and decided they all should marry him, I know it would be bit weird, but it is an anime and polygamy is a common theme around the world, and the chemistry between the 6 of them wouldn't have been that far out of the realm of a possibility and the only solution I thought that would have made everyone happy, including the audience. One has to wonder where the other sisters were during the wedding because you never saw them and the feelings they had during the wedding was never addressed, lots of dangling threads I hoped would have been shown but was not. Still definitely worth a watch in my opinion for what it's worth.

Anyone who hates this anime I'm confused. This anime is really perfect for singles who don't have a clear direction in their life. Always when I watch this somehow I smile myself like an autistic person. That's because in my brain, I'm happy like I feel that so many girls come to me. IRL might not be like that, but I hope that Amen can be like that. The animation per character is very different from other anime. Each character has a rich feel, so it's really boring. The virtual design and hair are really great, thx negi, for making these beloved characters. The song is delicious too, and I won't be bored to hear it. 10/10, this anime is no debate. I love this anime to death.
