The Fame Game tells the story of the most popular actress India, Anamika Anand (played by Madhuri Dixit) who is living two lives - one of a superstar and one of a dedicated wife, mother, friend, mentor and a loner, who is forced to make choices. The main event triggers when the India's most loved star disappears all of sudden and neither her family nor her friends have any clue about it. What follows next is the hunt, investigation and interrogations which includes dark secrets and fantasies of the superstar and her beloved people.
The Fame Game, kind of, pays tribute to the shining star in every possible way by breaking into her song, Chane Ke Khet Mein, or divulging into her scene from her previous films. This will definitely be a treat to her fans.
Unfortunately, the web series starts of well but loses the focus later with wafer-thin script which could have been sharper and convincing in this eight episode glamour drama. The editing should have been tighter with few episodes trimmed down to make it a better watch. Even though the cracks start appearing in the plot, the performances of the actors will keep you hooked coupled with grandeur sets, astounding back ground score and above all - Madhuri Dixit
The Fame Game belongs to the epitome of talent, Madhuri Dixit, who shines bright in each and every scene that will make you fall in love with her.

The makers have created a good game and every one from top to bottom have played really well in all aspects.
The game is all about how the fame is safeguarded..madhuri being the key player have taken the series on the upper leagues with her high range performance..Manav kaul was extraordinary with his bipolar character..the new age kids muskkan lakshvir along with Gagan gave strong performances...Suhasini and Sanjay played good negative roles..rajshri was a true and hard cop..HATS OFF to sri rao who directed the whole game, took the best potential from every character in a clean balanced way..the aesthetic were class apart along with colourful costumes and out of the blue locations..the aura of richness and fame was well created
The series goes well in pace with mild twists ,turns , soothing music, great stars ,all this kept enhancing..the negative part was humour which was missing with some unnecessary bold and crime scenes were shown.
Watch this for new content ,extravaganza lifestyle and how a star protects her FAME.

It has become a trend to stretch a story beyond what it can. Totally defines the greed of the producers for earning more money. Problem is that ends up becoming a major headache for the viewer which is rather frustrating! This one started on a highly promising note with Madhuri rocking in each and every frame but the story and screenplay drag...This could have been avoided had it all been packed in a tight 6 episodes instead of 8. A good example would be Bestseller(Shruti Hassan) on Amazon Prime, perfectly finishes when it should. Dharma productions need to learn that for the upcoming ones.
The show is boring. Do not waste your time on it. The episodes could have been shorter and the writing could have been crisper. Lost interest after episode 3. Mediocre writing.
This is the story of an actress who is clinging on to her fame and her wealth despite being manipulated by her own mother and husband.
Madhuri as the centre piece of this whodunit puzzle is convincing, rest of the senior support cast is good but most of the heavy lifting is done by new stars who play Madhuri's children and an obsessed fan.
Their struggles around her fame and their own vulnerability as well as sense of entitlement is very well portrayed / captured on screen.
Overall the show is good with a wonderful twist in the end!
It is the young actors who shine bright in this series and elevate it a few notches from passable to an exciting 1 time watch.
