It had good potential but the story is very predictable and boring. Bad acting doesn't help and the story isn't very realistic at all.
There är some really bad acting here which is impossible to ignore. Ok, some actors like Eva Röse are great as always, but some är really, really bad, which are ashame cause the basic story is good. One of the best acting is by Fredde Granberg and that says a lot, he's not a "real" actor, he's a comedian.
If you want to see good swedish series with good acting, watch Jägarna or Tunna blå linjen instead.

I am really surprised by the quality of this set. All of Sweden's best actresses in the roles, the script is great and the direction really juicy, showing different scenes in turn. Also, the voice work makes this a thriller in my opinion, even though it's classified as a drama.
I can't understand how the Swedes can make such great series year after year, but the other Nordic countries are really weak.
In the series, praising feminism too much was a bit disturbing, but it had also been acted/written to be justified.
It's a shame that the series had to end after the third season because of the corona virus. I wish there would be a continuation of this one year.
Perhaps Sweden's most famous female actress, Alexandra Rapaport has time to participate in a lot of series, but it's only good.
I recommend!

A suspenseful story that's brutal in its depiction of violence against women. This topic, along with 4 strong female protagonists may make this show hard to swallow for those looking exclusively for stereotypical (american?) entertainment.
While the writing does have its weakspots here and there, overall production and acting is well executed, and I'm looking forward to season 2.

I envy those people that can watch Heder and not reflect on the really bad dialogue and acting. It doesn't flow at all and its never convincing, its just painful to watch. I normally like watching Swedish productions, even with small founding it most often turn out pretty good. I just watch the second season of Heder and its so predictable, the script is terrible and I hope this is the last season. Spend the production money on something else.
