I found this movie very interesting, decent enough storyline , and well acted.
I was curious as to know where it was going, so kept with it to the end, however,
I have to say that I was a little disappointed at the quick " wrap up " finale.
A little anti climatic for me.
But still , not a bad movie all in all.

No, just no. This was so bad and obvious that it failed to engross at every turn. The acting was O.K at est but there were so many truly awfully acted moments the mediocre stuff was completely white washed... I get that it is a lifetime movie, but it is one of the weakest i have seen... Watch if you are really bored, have a broken leg and the remote is the other side of the room!

Superb TV flick (nothing fluffy here hence no need to insert the word 'chick') that uses the rarely employed setting of an all-female cult (attracting divorced and separated women frustrated with their daily domestic struggles and strapped finances) as a backdrop for a suspenseful thriller that features skilful twists & turns along the route. The cult attracts the vulnerable and delivers nice benefits...at a price!
If you can imagine a sorority for down to earth women where the books are cooked to keep the leader/bestselling-author under the radar away from the IRS, then you can see where this is going.
Nicely played by the three leads (Lisa Berry as the nice-but-nasty 'Queen' has a compelling presence; as do Claire Coffee and Siobhan Murphy as the real sisters with a dysfunctional history of codependency) and all the supporting characters.
I'm surprised more TV movies are not made at this standard and proves that a good setting with strong contrasting characters can prove very entertaining and engaging, particularly with a good plot and realistic dialogue.
I'd like to watch this again - it's that good.

I can't say that I'm an expert on Lifetime movies -- I find the majority to range between cheesy and simply bad, but I caught Secrets of the Sisterhood by accident and was immediately and surprisingly hooked. The acting was excellent all around. The writing had great characters especially the villain with lots of twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat the entire way through. I wish all made for TV movies were this good.

As someone who watches every new movie shown on Lifetime, this was one of the best Lifetime movies I have seen. I thought the acting was very good and I especially enjoyed the actress playing the part of Desiree. I highly recommend this movie.

Whaaaat! This was really good! I love Lifetime movies. They're a genre all their own. Most of the time I have them on in the background while I'm doing something else. I almost always find myself on my phone while watching. Some are hard to sit through because they get stale durning the middle but this one really held my interest from start to finish. I would've like a stronger ending but it was still pretty entertaining. All of the actors were very strong especially the leader, Desiree (sp?) I was thoroughly entertained by her. I didn't get bored once!

For a low-budget TV movie, I was won over by the story, the constant suspence, the script and by the credible actors well directed by the director. It's not perfect... but I loved it from beginning to end.

Wow! This is a great thriller right from the start! Claire Coffee is the perfect leading lady too so beautiful yet so smart. I won't give away the story but it is fascinating and had me on the edge of my seat throughout!!
