He Had It Coming

I was on the edge of my seat just enough with this five-minute short. No gore either, which I greatly appreciate. Picture a trip to Chuck-e-Cheese going horribly wrong, but that's okay because the main character is a self-entitled brat. Would have given more stars if it had been a tad bit longer with more character development, although the mom glued to her cellphone does bring it all together.

Something something Five Nights at Freddy's

Thanks to the game series Five Nights at Freddy's (which I never played), it seems that now everything to related with animatronics must be something horror-related.

Derivative premise aside, this was effectively creepy, even if you can see the "twist" coming from a mile away.

I'm not really sure of how this would work as a full-lenght feature film.

Dumb but entertaining

I only watched this because the banner on Hulu showed what was clearly a Billy Bob animatronic mask from Showbiz Pizza, poorly spray painted to look somewhat like a panda. And that's about as far as the value of this thing goes. It's clearly just trying to bank off of the popularity Five Nights at Freddy's had for like 2 years and was made way too late, but I really love the homages to Showbiz, with even the logo for the pizza place being a bit too spot-on to the Showbiz Pizza logo. I just wish there was more passion in it than that. VERY cheap, and with delightfully campy acting.

Bad acting, cheesy

Honestly, I had a good laugh. It was really cheesy and not at all scary. Maybe it would be a good "Horror" film for someone just starting out in scary movies or maybe a kid would enjoy this and find it creepy. I just felt like the acting was poor, and cheesy. I also felt like the horror elements were attempted, but just not there.

Awesome and well made!!!

This short is amazing and well made!!! It had well shot visuals, great horror, a little bit of nice character development, and showed us what a Five Night at Freddy's movie would be like, and all of that at 5 minutes. I would have given this short 10 out of 10, if it had an extra 3 to 5 more minutes with even more well made horror, but this short is still awesome even though it's at 5 minutes.

Plot? No. Music? Yes. Hotel? Trivago

This short film provided 1 count 'em 1 jump scare. And that's all I can really say for the scare department. However, the music? Slapped. I effectively will never forget it. Best part of this movie, easily.

Really Solid Short Horror

Well shot, pretty well acted, good effects, just generally well made. It was effectively creepy and gross and it's well worth the watch. Especially since it's only five minutes long!

THIS SUCKS!

This is a five minute long...something. It's certainly not a movie, I guess it's considered a short 'film'. Film is a stretch. It's like a sketch. It should not be on Hulu under the movie category. I can't understand why anyone would go through the trouble of making something like this. I guess they didn't have the capacity to create a full length movie. Totally disappointed because I thought that I was going to be able to watch a full movie. BOOOOO! This sucks!

0/10 EVEN THO IT WASN'T AN OPTION

Milica: I honestly don't recommend you even watch a moment of this. Some reviews may have mentioned a character development but my question is W H E R E homie? Don't waste ur time plz </3

Maja:I think this should be deleted of the internet, i don't believe i will ever be able to give or receive a hug from or to any human/animal/animatronic or otherwise. This disgusted me in a way that is hard to describe in simple words. I hope this movie is never mentioned or promoted in my living existence. If i die today and this was the last movie i saw i would haunt anyone responsible for making it. Its only a 1/10 cuz i cant give a 0.

Marko: No anime titts 0/10

It's just FNAF but as a short film

Also the panda just looks really strange. What kind of Panda has a skin tone on it's face?

Short film, yet less than 5 minutes of effort put into it.

I could not focus on the film for the five minutes it ran because of the poorly hidden references to Showbiz Pizza. The Pandory's "pizza palace" logo is the Showbiz pizza place logo exactly with only the words changed. The icon on shirt the kid was wearing was traced from shirts that Showbiz sold of Billy Bob, their animatronic bear, which happened to look almost exactly like the panda; I assume they just bought a latex face cast from the animatronic or the walk around character and used a sharpie to add black circles around the eyes. The cherry on top, the song at the end loudly proclaims "come for the pizza, stay for the fun!" which was a slogan used by none other than Chuck E. cheese pizza itself. Like FNAF, this short puts no effort into world building other than google image searches for jpegs of logos to download and print.

"Ya gotta come give me a big 'ol hug!"

A bratty kid who's having a birthday party at an obnoxiously tacky pizza place demands a show from the place's not quite right looking giant robot panda mascot, and when the long suffering security manager who clearly hates his job refuses to let the brat have his way, he steals the keys that turn the looming robotic nightmare on and sneaks backstage for a private performance, thing is though he really should have respected the man when he said that even pandas' gotta eat because this is no ordinary creepy robot panda but something quite monstrous in disguise that has a big appetite for little brats who don't follow the rules! I loved this short a lot when I first saw it, I really thought it was one of the best I'd seen in ages, something about it felt kind of fresh to me, I thought the panda suit looked amazing and creepy and menacing and just right there, you know what I mean?? I miss the era of big practical effects suits like that, and while the one in this wasn't a perfect example it was definitely great to see that old technique used in something again. It's quite suspenseful as it lured in the kid for a killer bear hug and was creepily wagging its stubby tail behind its back which felt very wrong for whatever reason, and then it reveals the more wicked and hideous face hidden behind the sweet panda mask, and then when it closes its freaky clanking arms around little Aden, it felt like the short could have easily gone for the gusto with the gore and had Pandory just be a scary machine that had gone a little homicidally haywire and had it simply kept hugging Aden until he messily exploded in a welter of blood and guts! I know it's more fun and spooky having Pandory be some kind of mysterious monster in disguise, but I'm just saying it could have worked well either way. I do like the mystery part, you don't know if it's a captive monster or a monster for hire, or a monster disguising itself as a robot to get a bite to eat...well given the hilarious security guy's reaction it's not the first time an unsuspecting kid got all ate up! Very good short, I loved the effects, the suspense, it gave me goosebumps and it ends on a real little jolt! Loved it, terrific fun stuff 🐼 x

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie

As a shameless ripoff of the videogame franchise that burned itself out within 2 years, this is actually pretty damn good. There are visuals that still haunt me weeks later. Unfortunately, it needs to be a full movie. It'll leave you wanting so much more.
