Youtube and Phelous' hilarious and brilliant reviews (what Dingo Pictures animations he's reviewed tore them to shreds to hilarious and spot on effect) are your best bet in finding and watching, out of curiosity and nothing else, the output of Dingo Pictures. There is very good reason as to why they are universally reviled and their output considered abominations of animation, unfortunately not as relatively obscure as they were.
'Arischa the Little Witch' is most "interesting" for being Dingo Pictures' last and also one of their most rare. Another thing that makes it stand out of the rest of their output is that it was never dubbed into English, so what we have is the original German dub. The good news is that 'Arischa the Little Witch' is one of their least bad, not being as irredeemably amateurish as a vast majority of their efforts. The bad news is that it is still extremely poor with pretty much everything that makes their output so bad present.
Credit is due in that it is in a way one of their better-looking efforts, there is a touch more vibrancy and it doesn't look as unfinished. There is more of a discernible plot than most of their work.
Not that that is saying a big deal. The story, hugely derivative of the infinitely better made, much more charming and much more entertaining 'Kiki's Delivery Service', is still paper thin and disjointed, in terms of pace it does drag with a lot of padding going on and it does go anywhere more often than not. 'Arischa the Little Witch' is one of the studio's shortest it sure doesn't feel like it. The animation is still very shoddy and simplistically detailed, it is very hard to believe that this came from the mid-2000s when it has a look that would have looked out of date in the 90s. There is still a lot of recycling and next to none of it is relevant at all.
The music never fits and sounds unintentionally creepy. Likewise with the flat voice acting, even in German which is a lovely language and wasted here. The script is juvenile and stilted, the target audience still in question. None of the characters are remotely interesting or likeable, the one that one remembers most is the raven and that is not in a good way.
In summation, very poor. 2/10
