Patina serves up some disturbing fun!

Patina was a fun, creepy short that felt very reminiscent of the old Twilight Zone episodes or Black Mirror. Definitely a scary look at the future!!

Disturbingly Simple But Effective!

I Had the honor of watching a friends film Patina, written, Produced and directed by talented fellow horror filmmaker and creature actor, Alan Maxson.

Had the pleasure of watching it twice already and it is beyond amazing!

The story structure is simple but effective. The lighting is beautifuly done and it fits the mood!

The creepy tone was fantastic and you will get that Eerie feeling throughout the film.

The Patina Make-up was simply done well. It shows you that creepy character in a disturbing way.

Love the acting as well.

The overall film was really great and I would highly recommend it, especially for horror fans.

Trivia
Patina takes place in the same universe as Christmas with Cookie. When John is on the phone with Alexa, he is interrupted by his boss saying "Hey John, we got a new story coming in. Something about revenge on Santa." Implying that John works at a news station and reports have started to come in that Peter and Prudence (characters from Christmas with Cookie) just publicly declared revenge on Santa.
