Million Dollar House Hunters

I don't even want to watch this because the sound is so horrible. Someone definitely is in the wrong line of work. It has horrible music blaring over the speakers. Makes no sense whatsoever. Whoever allowed this to be released as is should be embarrassed. Does nobody view shows before they air?

Also I think I'm on the first season, but why does the person showing the homes seem to think their opinion matters more than the buyers. They are just there. The buyers don't even seem to look at the homes. They just walk from room to room.

Definitely do not recommend. There are many similar shows done much better.

The host talks way too much. She loves every feature of every house and the buyers just stand there and nod. Oversell! They show very little of the actual homes they're featuring and the sound is horrible. Very amateur.

They need to spend less time reviewing what they've already seen or what they're going to see and show more of the homes they're showing.

Great concept but very poorly done. Love the home that are featured but just don't see anything but the kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and the outdoor area.

Also, get rid of the local realtors that add absolutely no value to the script.

Absolutely horrid sound engineering, at least in the first season. The houses may be a million$, but the shows budget must have been about $20 per episode. The music is always way louder than the talking, and people are not miced equally from scene to scene. It is distracting, and I am not a sound guy.

Premise is fine, but way too many episodes in LA and surrounding areas. The show truly feels lazy.

They also show way less of the houses it seems than OG house hunters, usually only showing like 3 rooms per and instead spending way too much time on unnecessary host/client conversations. There is also both a host and separate real estate agents, which is unnecessary as it adds nothing to the pacing.

If I catch an episode later than season 1, I'll change my review accordingly but as of now it is a solid 2/10.

Viviana's presence as a host feels redundant, given that the buyers respond to her questions with the same flat, emotionless tone they use in their solo interviews. Her role adds little value to the show and could easily be reduced to a voice-over, similar to how the original House Hunters phased out on-screen hosts like Andromeda Dunker. The show oddly places more emphasis on the buyers' personalities and backstories than on the actual homes, which misses the point entirely. The shots of the homes are short and like they were cut with children's safety scissors that couldn't cut butter, with the most emphasis put on the transitions. Most viewers tune in to see the properties-not to hear scripted small talk, forced banter from buyers, or video editting effects.
