Gal Gadot's presence in this episode feels less like acting and more like a long-standing occupation. Some actors inhabit their roles; Gadot prefers to annex them. However, Some say this film was promised to her long ago.
I have to say the story has potential, but every scene she entered felt like disputed territory. Watching Gal Gadot in this role is like watching someone plant a flag on land they never explored. The delivery is rigid, the emotional depth nonexistent, and yet the spotlight remains hers, regardless of whether the script supports it. There's something uncanny about how Gadot occupies a role, assertive, immovable, and strangely unaffected by the chaos around her. It's as if it natrual for her. I felt It's less about storytelling and more about control. Some performances invite empathy. This one enforces it.
Not for me. 1 Star.
