On his way to work, a lonely fish farm worker discovers that he died the day before. Oblivious to his preposterous condition, he spends his last day on Earth trying to verify his existence. What will become of his poor canaries?

Makis is a fish farm worker. On his way to work one morning, he is informed that he has died the day before. After failed attempts to prove that he is alive, he accepts his fate with indifference and he spends his last day trying to secure shelter and caretakers for his beloved canaries, up until the time of his funeral.

On his way to work, Makis, a quiet and lonely fish farm worker, discovers that he died the day before. Oblivious to his bizarre condition, Makis embarks on a futile mission to shed light on the preposterous situation. However, this is easier said than done. As despair turns into apathy, Makis spends his last day on Earth trying to verify his existence. Unfortunately, only a handful of people will miss the grizzled loner.
