This movie was very... with the script followed the events just as some remembered. The cast did fantastic. (especially Will Sasso and Betsy Beutler) The movie was action, funny , and entertaining. Now...the ball's........in your......court Go see it.

This is far from a classic but my expectations were not very high anyway. I was interested in learning the details of this sad story and it delivered on that. Acting and casting is passable. As long as you're not expecting Scorsese you shouldn't be disappointed

This movie brings to life the 2007 reffing scandal that rocked the NBA. You'll find yourself rooting for the 3 deeply-flawed main characters, which is a tribute to the outstanding writing, direction, and acting. A truly enjoyable movie experience that I cannot more highly recommend.

I heard Will Sasso talking about this on a podcast; I was familiar with the story and thought I'd check out this interesting-sounding film adaptation.

Yikes.

This is a junior college film project. Low budget, comic actors + low rent Tim & Eric level actors, bizarrely forced profanity, trope after trope after trope, emotionally arbitrary, you can see plot turns coming a MILE away, you can even see the guys wearing makeup in some scenes.

Just. Bad. Glad I rented and did not buy.

Everything about this movie was horrible. the writing the story no plot totally unsympathetic haracters, unfocused storyline where do I get a refund ? do not waste your money on this this is a rip-off

I thought this would be some boring grungy gambling movie, but it was actually pretty funny. I don't know much about gambling but they clearly explained how betting lines work and how the bookie was able to manipulate them to make tons of money. It is also damning that the NBA rules are so complicated that final scores can be influenced so readily.

I liked how at the end it was one of the female characters who saved the day (girl power)! Plus I am not going to complain about seeing Bailey's sexy body many times over.

What a waste of dough. Script was awful. No story. No plot line. Characters were just completely unredeemable. I was interested in learning more about the Donaghy scandal, but it was nothing new. Just paint by the numbers. Cliche after cliche, after cliche. Film should have NEVER been made. Total garbage.

This movie is a riveting account of the 2007 NBA reffing scandal. Outstanding script, superb direction, and exceptional performances throughout. A must see!

Lousy script. Total garbage writing. Waste of time and money. All the characters were unsympathetic and there was no storyline. Next time you guys decide to make a movie, come up with a plot and a story. I only went to see this because I was interested in the Donaghy story, but there was nothing new. Paint by the numbers.

I thought this film might've been entertaining, however it was lousy in every capacity. There was no story or plot and every character was unlikable. Avoid this film. So bad!!!!!!

This is a fantastic movie and for all you gamblers it a dream come true. The movie is outright fantastic and worth seeing every minute of the performance. Enjoy!!!

This movie is so weak. What a waste of money. Terrible script. No story. No plot. Avoid this movie, it's so poorly made.

In 2007 Tim Donaghy was caught leaking inside information in order to place bets on games that he was officiating. With the help of his 2 good friends they end up down a path of dangerous decisions

The movie opens with an exposition heavy 10 minutes but the movie kicks off pretty quick. Anyone familiar with the 2007 NBA scandal is aware that this was a big deal. What makes the movie work is that although the story is crazy, it somehow manages to stay grounded for the most part.

What really shines in this movie are Sasso and Wolf. I must say that for a guy who spit lemons from his mouth on social media I was very impressed with Sasso's performance. Wolf did a great job as well. Giving the audience a man to empathize with while also keeping us at the edge of our seats.

The film isn't without its flaws as there are parts that I felt didn't hit like they were supposed to. However I can easily recommend this to any NBA fan or gamblers out there.

Listen to podcast "whistle blower" to get the actual story. This cheap trick reminds me of the adaptation of the book "the informant" to the watered down punched up big screen version!

Aside from missing the point of the whole scandal the production/acting/script felt like an after school special. 👎🏼👎🏼

Inside Game is one of those movies that keeps you deeply invested in the plot. The dialog is fast and fascinating - who knew how intelligent guys like Batista could be? The acting was terrific - such believable characters! I loved that the writer let us know what they're doing and where they're living now.

Movie has hookers, the mob, gambling, the NBA and 3 guys in the center of it. How these 3 got as far as they did I will never know.

I saw an interview with Scott Wolf where he said "Good Fellas for Dummies". It is perfect description and the movie is funny as hell.

It's the Will Sasso show. I've never heard of the guy before, but he plays he slam dunks every other actor off the screen here. Cheating at sports is an enthralling subject, and a story of a cheating ref is just made for cinema. If you liked Uncut Gems, I'm pretty sure you'll love this. Either way, it's perfect for now, when we're all in lockdown, and you realise Netflix is full of trash. Enjoy!

Possibly due to the fact that it was a true story. Inside Game tells a really cool story that in certain places felt too by-the-numbers and lacking emotion. Loved Will Sasso in it. First time I ever seen him do something that was not funny. Not that the character he played was so complex that he could not do it but still he did great job with the material. I'm impressed. He over shadowed Scott Wolf who I'm assuming most of the crowd went to see. Oh well. He was a main reason the film went bland too. He's reasoning in the film was to keep the story moving and he did such a lackluster job at it. But otherwise it's a decent film cause of a good story it tells.

Inside Game is a well written story revealing the misadventures of three friends involved in gambling on the game they grew up playing and loved. Thoroughly enjoyed this drama.

In a time before legal gambling, great and realistic view into the lives of 3 sports gamblers. The theater had a bunch of laughter at multiple parts of the movie. I had to go to the bathroom for the second half of it and didn't want to miss any of it! Really impressed with the acting, and the cast selection. I'm not a gambler on sports - but I didn't need to be to enjoy it.

Great movie. Tells a true story well. Characters showed a wide range of emotions... funny, touching and very entertaining. Go see this. You won't be sorry.

Inside Game is a great story. All the better that it happens to be true. Grabs your attention from the start and doesn't let go. Exciting. Highly recommended.
