The lead actor is funny. I have seen a few of his Kdrama and he does not disappoint. Coincidentally, I am watching "Your Honor" after he was declared as the #1 Most Handsome Korean Actor according to Kpopmap Readers dated November 27, 2020. Your Honor is funny, with some actions scene and a dash of romance.
In this movie Yoon Si Yoon played two different character. One is an honorable judge whom is always be the first in everything. The other is his twin brother, a low level scumbag who get in and out prison frequently. He played those two character perfectly, gesture, smile, even eye contact. No wonder he was asked to repeat again in "Train". Although, in my opinion, "Your Honor" is better movie than "Train". The conflict in "Your Honor" is more complicated than "Train", which is just focus on finding a serial killer who know how to escape through parallel universe.
This serial started with good storyline of twin brothers. But love story between main couple was a drag and keep many episodes too lengthy. Unnecessary and repeated dialogues took the interest away. Most of the scenes were shot restaurant or Bar apart from court. Nothing else to show or focussed upon. Expecting more from this judge swap series, but 6-7 episodes in middle are just waste. Content can be covered in 1-2 episodes. As per title of series, it seemed that series focus may be shifted many times. It would have been better if thought have been given to these points. Otherwise it would have been good series.
I really liked this drama. Some of the acting was a bit over the top but I loved the story line and was funny. My only problem was I thought the ending was a bit rushed, if they had made some of the cases a bit shorter and then gone into more depth at the end, then it would have been perfect! However, I would recommend despite this. Very cute!
This drama was very enjoyable - I am quickly becoming a big fan of Yoon Shi-Yoon. Having seen him in a few things now, he is able to do both funny and serious really well. Kang-Ho was a goofy and fun lead you can't help but root for, and I loved the romance between him and So-Eun, who is an incredible female character. I absolutely loved her, she was sweet and kind but also really strong, and her relationship with Kang-Ho was done really well and felt natural and organic. They had wonderful chemistry together, and I just wish that we had gotten a bit more of their story. The soundtrack was really lovely and fit the show well. Unlike another reviewer, I actually thought they handled the situation of Kang-Ho taking his twin brother's place as a judge really well and in a realistic manner. I think the scenes with the "twin" brothers could have been filmed better, as it was pretty obvious when Shi-Yoon was acting (especially in physical scenes) with a stunt double. They did these scenes much, much better in the show Duel with Yang Se-Jong. This show wasn't anything amazing, and probably deserves about a 6, but I enjoyed it so much that I raised it to a 7.
