Love this for showing the bond of Friends. Maggu and Sabu are brilliant and Sejal is as always superb.
The web series is a nice series and is a kind of girlish series. Experience the life of girls in an engineering college with Maggu, Sabu, and Kiara.

It's just a simple story of three college girls and their college life...if you want real life story then don't watch it you will not like it but if you want a simple story with good acting and the storyline to be little away from reality then you can surely watch it....the storyline is not too far away from reality but yeah it is not one the reality line too.
The web series is a nice series and is a kind of girlish series. The actors have really perfirmep well and with it's sponsor the location was also perfect. There is drama but no or less comedy.
The Viral Fever has two shows based on Girls Hostel, one is this one while the other one is Girls Hostel (2018). Engineering Girls feels like a story created out of the unused pages from the script of 'Girls Hostel' (metaphorically speaking). While watching the show, one can see that the creators didn't really have much interest in making the show, they just had to because of the sponsors. First season of the show was more of an advertisement of 'Sharda University' than an actual show based on the lives of Engineering girls. In the second season thankfully the show was purchased by an OTT platform, so no more irritating 'Sharda University' ads. A key problem with these web series is that they are not made because the creators have a story to tell, but because a sponsor asks them to make one and then they write a story revolving around the sponsor.
The second season is pretty much the same as the first season but with a bigger budget, better camera quality and lighting. As far as acting is concerned, it's quite ironic that the one who wants to be an actress is the weakest actress of the three leading girls. Popular YouTuber Sejal Kumar, who plays Kiara, was a very poor casting choice. It seems the casting team was instructed to find a popular girl instead of someone who can act. Barkha Singh (Sabu) is a fine actress, and she does a pretty good job in the show, but the best performer of the show is without a doubt Kritika Avasthi, who plays Maggu/Meghna Mishra. Kritika Avasthi, who has completely transformed herself into the innocent and vulnerable Maggu, is miles ahead of her co-stars as far as acting is concerned. Kritika brings the believability in her role, and makes you care for her character. Among the supporting cast, Kunal Aneja and Surbhi Verma in Season 1 and Abhinav Anand in Season 2 have performed really well.
Since the characters finished their final year of engineering in the second season, so I assume we won't see another one, which in my opinion is a good thing. If we rank the shows made by TVF, this one would end up quite low. It's a simple show which cannot be classified as good or bad. It's a half hearted attempt by the creators to showcase the life of girls pursuing engineering. I won't call it avoidable but i won't recommend it either.
