Royally Ever After

Royally Ever after was a cute movie. It's nowhere near as horrible as other reviews state. I rather enjoyed it. It's your typical happy ever after Hallmark movie. You know what to expect from them and in the end, the hero and heroine always end up together. Was this inspired by Harry and Meghan? Yes and no. The commoner marrying royalty theme has been a common theme in romance novels and movies for decades. At least this movie was filmed in Ireland instead of a cheesy sound stage. The cinematography was great and the acting was decent. It you're looking for something light and flirty, this movie is a great choice.

This Hallmark movie is predictable as are most Hallmark movies. As predictable as it is, I still enjoyed it and was glad I didn't pay attention to the awful ratings and watched it anyway.

Why make movies that make the American "commoner" seem so dumb and the "English" like they have broomsticks up them?

Not up to your standard. Made lead actress appear foolish. In this day and age women should not be portrayed this way.

This was a mediocre "royal" romance for me, which is too bad because it had a lot going for it. I enjoyed the cast with one exception the royal sister Fiona, I thought she was over played. My other big complaint was how the prince was written, it wasn't the actor as I have seen him in other things...including Reign, it was more the script which didn't give him many lines and had him appearing to be supportive but only in the privacy of just the two of them...silent when it really mattered. "Danny"/Daniël really needed a fire light under him. Do you love this girl or not?!?!?!

That annoyed me so much I couldn't enjoy the film.

New Jersey school teacher has a relationship with Danny the writer, only to discover when he proposes that he is a prince and heir to the thrown...but wait if he marries a commoner he can't be king unless his parents change the rules.
