At first, I thought this was just another mime horror short blended with the all-too-familiar underpass horror subgenre. But this film adds a surprisingly fresh twist: the mysterious figure first copies your movements-and then forces you to copy its. That clever idea sets up a nasty surprise for the main character. That said, it's still a mime horror mixed with underpass horror, so while it's entertaining, it's not exactly mind-blowing.

According to a behind-the-scenes YouTube video made and released by Dan Allen, the film was filmed in a busy underpass in London and as there were passersby getting in the way, they only had a very limited window for each shot. Because of this, the finished film is a compilation of moments where no passersby came through. The scenes were also rehearsed in a controlled location away from the underpass as to not cause a commotion. This video is very interesting and contains much more information about the making of this short film. It can be found simply by looking up 'dan allen the mime' on YouTube.
