Tito e os Pássaros

I am watching this during the coronavirus outbreak where on 24 February there are more than 78,000 infected people and 2,400 deaths. The fear and discrimination are frighteningly similar on China and to Asian Chinese everywhere.

That may sound a bit negative, but the main asset of this film is the way the story is presented. The painting style and the use of oil paints provide a unique experience. The expressionism that is used creates beautiful, dreamy scenes on the one hand, but also creates nightmarish scenes. The characters are a bit left out with their South Park-like appearance. The story is not very special. It is mainly about the gap between rich and poor. The angle is a bit more original. All in all, not a bad pastime at all.

This movie is just a great message for a pandemic.

The most hardship for human beings is " fear".

People are always fear something.

If you can beat it you can be anything.

This movie taught me many important things about life.

The animation techniques and expressions are scary sometimes but it has great taste.

This is a sad story, with a predictable and passable conclusion, in a sad visual style. Nothing to justify a 70 mn length. 10 would have been enough. And it is so sad that it is not suitable for children, and so childish that it is not for adults either. Who is this movie for ? About the visual style : it looks like the creators discovered a way to animate smoke in a fancy way. So they searched for a story with a lot of smoke/clouds/waterfalls/fire.

The animation in this film is outstanding. It's subtle and beautiful in its designs, with a musical score and cinematography that is sure to marvel audiences. This is highly recommended.
