The movie is a full shot mamooty show.All the scenes without him are worse.Script looks like 2 minute thinking.Movie lags at start and loses its flow at many places. Even when emotions are not hard,the biggest plus of the movie are the comedies.Rajas manglish jokes were so funny and I wondered myself getting entertained and laughing.Fight scenes were superb.Never thought mamooty could do it so perfect.Sunny leone is brilliant with her lip sinking skills.Only character which were a headache was anusree's.They tried to mirror manju in Kanmadam but it fails miserably.

The movie is one time watchable.It would be a decent entertainer for families.Not upto the expectation mark but better than recent mass movies like lucifer.

I'm not a big fan of Pokkiriraja. I didn't like anything about it except a few comedy scenes. So I only had minimum expectations for Madhuraraja. But Vyshak surprised me. The movie was not so bad. It is a perfect entertainer for everyone. Mammootty did an excellent job as Raja. We can see how good he is in an emotional scene where he says his troubled english without making us laugh. Salim Kumar has some good comedy numbers and some really bad ones. The visuals and songs disappointed. The action sequences were so good. Peter Hein did a good job and he deserves an applause for making a 67 year old actor do good stunts. Mammootty also deserves applause for trying his best in stunt scenes. Madhuraraja is a perfect entertainer and is recommended for mass masala movie lovers and those who liked Pokkiriraja and Pulimurugan.

2weeks back , I had watched Lucifer . I went to watch madhura raja with similar expectations. And I was wrong. The movie starts of really well . Mammooty's entry could have been better. The bgm is quite disappointing compared to pokkiri raja. The first half was actually fine . There is a lag in the second half and the story starts deviating . Some parts of the movie were not digestible. The action sequences were great . Comic elements were pretty less . Actors like Aju Varghese , Suraj and salim kumar were sidelined . The cameo by Sunny Leone was appreciable. Overall it's an entertaining film which can be watched with family over the weekend .

Old wine in old bottle..pokkiriraja is better than madhura raja...diehard fans like it because they are eagerly waiting for a 100 cr movie from mammookka...The costumes of mammookka is superb..otherwise it is an old vijayakanth style movie

The first half of madhura raja is very entertaining which was filled with comedy, romance,action and pop cultural references. But the average second half makes it only a one time watch for general audience. Pokkiri raja was filled with loads of comedy and action. Looking at trailers, I thought madhura raja will be action packed. But this one has action only at interval and climax. Second half becomes serious which is not good. I didn't like the cinematography. Also it is evident that vysakh was still in puli murugan hangover as madhura raja climax was similar to puli murugan. In puli murugan, villain is killed by tiger and hero kills that tiger and in madhura raja villain is killed by dogs and hero puts fire in the villains den. Missed idivettu sugunan and surya. Mammooty carried the film on his shoulders and was very entertaining.

Vyshakh's follow-up to the massively entertaining potboiler Pokkiri Raja (2010) almost made me sit up on my chair. The fantastic continuity apart, it has some signature comical sequences that are bound to wrap you in humor even as you are bothered by the ridiculously outrageous plot turns that this ultra-fast-paced action comedy drama makes to stay relevant in the eyes of its viewer. The plot moves so fast you won't have time to use your brain to make sense of the turn of events, which is a good thing for Vyshakh and his team who have ignited their imaginative power further with Madhura Raja (King of Madhura), a template film that is high on style, Mammootty's glamour, and pop culture. Unfortunately, it's a bit low on other departments like story and character development. If those are things that hardly matter to you when you are fed with constantly amusing comedy, Madhura Raja's first half will be a popcorn-worthy treat. The second half is a letdown so there is an option to walk out if you value your time. TN.

Mammootty's larger than life avatar 'Madhura Raja' returns in this movie once again and there's plenty of mass scenes, intense fight scenes, emotional content and funny moments. But is that enough? Madhura Raja is a typical mass masala movie made especially for the fans as a fan service. The fans will definitely enjoy every single moment of the movie as this will gives goosebumps to them because it's definitely a one man show. But this movie will be clearly a disappointment for the serious movie goers as the plot is clichéd. The same old villain hero rivalry with some socially relevant aspects , comedies and enthinado emotional content, Madhura Raja is just another clichéd movie which is an old wine in a new bottle. The offers nothing new for the viewers.

Madhura raja,is the return of raja after the movie pokiriraja by vyshak and udaykrishna.Its a perfect blended movie with all commercial elements like comedy, breathtaking actions, thrilling music, emotions and with several messages.its a perfect festival movie! Mammootty has put up a highly energetic performance throughout the movie.he was great in emotional scenes and action sequences.we can see here a 67 year old man jumping and kicking like a young hero,the actions were spellbounding. Other actors,Anusree,Mahima,Siddique,Jay,Salim Kumar etc has also put up great performances. Salim Kumar has worked out comedy numbers in a great fun way and have made everyone laugh.

◾Camera and direction is the best part of this movie,vyshak has made this predictable plot look great in the big screen with no boring moments. ◾Music and background score has also created a great ambience inside the theatre.

So overall it's an electrifying entertainer with a package of mass-masala elements.So book your tickets and enjoy the show,it will not disappoint.

Pure family entertainer + comedy + mass film. Expecting more to come from theese combo. As we all expected vaishak and mamooty combo does not desperate us. And the peter hein behind the massive stunt choreography. Well cinematography. Overall its a class film everyone have to watch

It's a mass entertainer staring mega star Mammootty as the title role. 1st half is entertaining and it is very good ,and in second half shows some political scenes feel some booring but the climax and the related scenes were so awesome.

The film is just fantastic, especially mammotty made us all thrilled with his dialogues and action.the Stunts and way of direction sshows the class and mass of the director and stunt master. the film is much more than we expected Anne is sure to break all records

It's one of the best family entertainer. Peter Haines stund sceen were nice and the story quet normal story. Every character makes their best for them. I think vyshakh makes the film as a family entertainer. It make the film more success

This is a fantastic super entertainer movie i would say. Sooo much to laugh. I laughed my heart out. Mammookkaa is too good. Salim kumar has done an outstanding role. Its way better than Pokkiriraja. Whoever loves comedy would definitely watch this.
