The concept was good but the movie is typically bollywood style , too much of drama , hue and cry. Movie can be better with a better story lineup with much of logic. John is my favourite so can not be critical of him but still much improvement is needed in his acting. You can consider to watch this movie only if you are hardcore patriotic person and want corruption free country otherwise just skip this and watch quality one.
Typical bollywood drama movie. Such a waste of time.
The USP of this movie is Action Scene of Hain and serious act from Manoj. The story is predictable but griping. One time watch.
I first saw this in a theater when it released. Revisited bits of it few days back.
It is about a vigilante (John Abraham) who kills corrupt cops by setting them on fire, thereby gaining public support for wiping out the corrupt cops.
Worried by the rising body count and seeing other cops terrified, an officer is assigned to hunt down the killer.
The film has lots of violent killings, an item song, some melodrama, Bollywood romance n a script straight outta the 80s but the end product is a decent action thriller with lots of dead corrupt cops.
Watch out for the beating of the bald cop.
I loved the beating of the pervert cop n its background music.

I had decent expectation for this movie after watching Madras Cafe and Parmanu but was sorely disappointed. If Gabbar is Back was innovative, this movie would be considered regressive. Manoj Bajpai had decent moments in the movie. Aisha Sharma's voice and acting was jarring at best. I wasted mine, please dont waste your precious 2 hours on this garbage.

Virendra Rathod (Veer): Good days are really back. There are nearly 4200 religions in this world. And thousands of people die for it, kill for it everyday. But people like you have created a new religion: corruption!
- Créditos curiososDuring the ending credits in the Blue Ray version there is no space between "Manoj Bajpayee".
- Versiones alternativasFor the theatrical release in India, the CBFC demanded that 8 cuts be made to the film before it could be approved with an A rating. These cuts removed dialogue and visuals which the board disapproved of for political reasons.
