Tackling some serious domestic abuse and alcoholism issues this film will leave you moved. It's a tough watch at times but offers some moving scenes and solid performances. Moves at a nice pace and in my opinion is an important film which should be used in an educational capacity.

After seeing other reviews I had high hopes for this movie. The acting is really good however the story line is all over the place and the ending left much in question.

Still confused why the rating is so low with all the positive reviews.

Sure, it isn't on an epic budget like the Hollywood blockbusters, but it doesn't need to be It's the story it tells, and the emotions it brings out of you. The cast are on point, Shawn Michaels is quite frankly brilliant. You get to hate him one minute, yet cry for him the next. I can see why he took on the role. People need to see this film, I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm so in love with this because it tackles real life issues. Truly an eye opener for everybody who's going through some things. Simply amazing 😍

This is a real life movie about real life issues. Get a standby tissue just in case and sit quietly and watch. Film imitates life here people. Great watch!!

The film is very true to life and Shawn Michaels was fantastic in his role as Jimmy Devine!

I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened-& what a surprise ending! The beginning of the movie was emotional to watch, as I, too, watched domestic violence growing up. Actually, the end was emotional, too, as my dad recently died of lung cancer... & I was able to forgive him before he died. Adam Hampton played Scottie well. I didn't catch the name of the actor who played young Scottie, but he was also a great actor. Shawn Michaels truly made you hate him as a drunk and then pity him as a dying old man. Superb acting all the way around. One thing I would ask, for any movie these days, don't use the Lord's Name in vain, okay? I take the Lord's Prayer very seriously when it says, "Hallowed be Thy Name." And I cringed when I heard His Name used as a curse word a couple of times throughout the movie. The F word is also completely unnecessary, but the other curse word is way more offensive. You can make a good movie without all the cursing.

This is an excellent movie about the emotional turmoils of childhood abuse and the impact it can carry with us into adulthood. The movie is well directed and written honestly with a shockingly emotional performance by WWE star Shawn Michaels. Do yourself a favor and don't listen to the bad reviews probably left by jealous people who don't understand the process. This is a glorious movie and you will be happy you put it on.

Real life issues with real life consequences. This movie engages a lot.

I'd recommend this movie to anyone! A lot of mixed emotions will run thru the viewers. Make sure you have Kleenex available. It depicts a lot of what happens in real life to some. Very well written. Adam Hampton was amazing in his role in the film. It was really nice to see someone from my small hometown play such a powerful roll. Highly recommend you watch this and watch it with your family. I let our 13 and 6 year old watch it and my 6 year old cried!

This film is captivating on so many levels. Shawn Michaels truly delivers in this film. This film definitely reaches your core and keeps you emotionally entangled from beginning to end. A must see! Great cast....great story!

So, I'm new to all this stuff but I had to open a free account just to rate this movie. What a stellar cast, hands down one of the best independent movies I've ever seen! SERIOUSLY. All the actors did an exceptional job, I'm really impressed with the cinematography, the acting, all of it! This movie NEEDS to be out there on EVERY station. No wonder it's won awards, I can see why. A MUST SEE!

This movie seriously grabs ahold of you and takes you through some heavy emotions. You may want to grab the tissues for this one. Real life story telling going on and the acting is incredible and intense.

I was blown away by the film, I was a little worried it was going to be hallmark but the acting especially from Shawn Michaels blew me away. I felt these characters, the pain and the hope for forgiveness. Truly a remarkable film with a nice flow and wonderful cinematography that brought the mood even more to life. I highly recommend this and I do hope to see more from Shawn Michaels on the screen in future films.

Great film depicting topics Hollywood avoids or glamorizes. The director really pulled out performances from relatively new film actors. Sean Michaels wow.

Great storyline and actors were on point. The dramatic twists were perfectly timed, which kept me completely invested from start to finish. I definitely recommend this movie!

This film is truly amazing!!! The story line grabs you at the beginning and holds on to your heart, thru out the movie. Shawn Michaels is truly a knockout star! I understand why everyone is talking about Shawn Michaels. But what about Adam people?! He was my favorite part about this whole thing.

This was a riveting film. It brilliantly showed how what happens in our childhood affects us and how easy it is to let those effects control our thoughts and actions. Forgiveness is so powerful. I have been involved with the Celebrate Recovery ministry for over 7 years and have seen how forgiveness and the love of Christ can heal and transform people. Thank you for featuring that ministry in your movie.

Great cast,incredible story line and overall everyone in the film done a phenomenal job to tell a story.
