December’s home media releases are off to a quiet start, as we only have a handful of titles headed home on Tuesday. Dave Franco’s directorial debut, The Rental, is being released on both Blu-ray & DVD this week, and if you’re looking to upgrade some of your vamp-related titles, both Blade and Underworld are getting a 4K Ultra HD overhaul.

Other releases for December 1st include Do Not Reply, Panic, Beast Mode, Backwoods and Amityville Witches.

Twilight Saga star Jackson Rathbone’s horror film Do Not Reply is heading to Cannes and sales agent Vmi Worldwide has debuted the first trailer for the film.

The gruesome serial killer thriller stars Rathbone as a Vr-obsessed killer and is a cautionary tale of the evils of social media. It is directed by Walt Woltosz and Daniel Woltosz.

Vmi Worldwide is launching the film, which is produced by Iron Compass Entertainment, at Cannes next week.

Also featuring Degrassi: Next Class’s Amanda Arcuri, it explores the dangers of popular phone apps among teens and the frightening pervasiveness of sexual predators in modern society. Arcuri plays Chelsea, a high school introvert, who is abducted through a social media app by a charming and handsome man who calls himself Brad, played by Rathbone. Chelsea is forced to look like other girls Brad holds captive in his boarded-up house. The high-schooler desperately...

Tagline: "A Date to Die For." Do Not Reply is an upcoming horror film, from Daniel and Walter Woltosz; this is their film debut. And, Do Not Reply is a horror film that deals with an introverted high-schooler, who is targeted through a social media app'. Now, Chelsea will have to escape, before her murder is broadcast across the internet. This title is also being produced by Nicholas Paul Ybarra.
