While I believe your first 2 episodes were good and your "celebrities" deserving and they truly seemed changed. There are many that feel Nicole Eggert is not deserving of a 2nd chance and has not changed at all in the months since the show has been filmed. She has attacked Scott Baio, his wife and minor child non stop for over a year. She and her trolls have doxxed his family, his supporters, hacked and one supporter reported money being stolen from their account. This continues to this day! She hides behind fake accounts and partners with her trolls. We may watch, but the backlash posted will be severe I would imagine. Using her own words and her own lies.
This show is a worthy effort by Rodriguez to give advice and help to former athletic stars who have fallen on hard times after poorly managing the millions of dollars they had made. Unfortunately, the help he provides fails miserably. While the premise of the show is notable, the execution is awful. He is trying to coach athletes who have no sense of financial discipline and responsibility, business ability, and sadly, simple mathematical ability. And, it is not good tv. I watched part of the first episode and found it too depressing to stay tuned. I watched the whole second episode, thinking that Holyfield does not have any idea about what is happening. This was confirmed at the end of the show when a one second comment was flashed on the screen (you can see it for yourself). After watching one and a half episodes I feel sorry for the athletes and embarrassed that they are being exploited, once again, this time by CNBC. No more please.
Some of the reviewers clearly stated that some of these celebrities did not use or deserve the help that Alex and his team provides. That is definitely the drama to this type of TV. I did enjoy how some of the celebrities did help themselves. That is what the show is about people uplifting themselves back to using their talents and fixing the mistakes from the past. I like Alex's advise and he can relate to many of them.
Very disappointed you chose Nicole Eggert for a second chance. Your show was filmed months ago, and Nicole has not changed at all. She and her trolls still attack Scott Bell and his family including his minor daughter daily! Additionally, they attack his supporters. By attacking that means doxxing them, hacking them and in one case money was taken I was told. The attacks continue to this day! Her lies continue daily. Lies that can be and have been proven in her own words/tweets/video.
A rod somehow breaks through the thickness of fame and pride, making his way into the minds of wealthy powerful talented people and bringing them some sort of reality check. A rod has walked the line and redeemed himself in my eyes. Owning his mistakes and rectifying them as well as paying it forward. Great work by a great dude.
