I watch Ejen Ali because of the movie. The storyline is simple but with plot twist. If you want to learn malay langguage in a casual way or informal but very natural this anime would help you. Now the series available on youtube with English sub. As a fan of anime i watch japan anime as i was in my early 20s but watching this series make me excited again.

One of the only animated series that doesn't talk down on its audience & is intellectual. Wau animation may not be on top in terms of graphics & cgi in this country (it's still amazing though), but it definitely is THE BEST in terms of storytelling & character writing, and i think that matters more than any fancy spectacle looking cgi.

The music slaps too.

The voice acting & script in my opinion is the best out of all malay medium that we have as well. Kudos to them in that department.

My only gripe is...please please PLEASE redo the english dubs for season 1 and 2. Thankfully you guys did a great job for the english dubs in season 3 and the 1st movie. If it's possible please keep Azman Zulkiply for the english dubs. He's phenomenal.

Can't wait for the 3rd movie & season 4. I hope it won't disappoint.

I am from India and has watched all seasons(1, 2 & 3) and movies(1 & 2). Season 1, 2 & movie 1 are available in hindi. So,I watched it in that and season 3 and movie 2 in Malay and English subtitles. My request from viewers ( especially Indians) to watch it especially S1, 2 and movie,you all will love it very much. This series is rated 12+ but Older people will also enjoy it. As I am myself 16 years old. I came to know that because of low viewership in India, S3 and potentially movie 2 are not dubbed in hindi ( needs confirmation about movie 2). So, increase its viewership so that S3 and movie 2 will also be dubbed in hindi. Also,I want to recommend and request people from other countries to also support it. Thankyou. Love from India.

One more thing,I want to request the production team to advertise more about it in different countries so that people can come to know more about it.

It's a story of a 12 years old elementary school kid who becomes an operative of a secretive intelligence body called MATA (Meta Advanced Tactical Agency) by accident. He's really clumsy but persistent in his struggle nevertheless. It's not your typical episodic spy cartoon but a planned world building with intriguing characters' arc; the story is progressive and the main character grows in attitude over the whole series. It contains some light humors and much cooler action sequences than The Incredibles. Furthermore, what makes this series stands out among the so many spy cartoons especially from the States (US) is their amazing cinematic visual especially during the fight scenes . Apart from that, I also love the character designs which are much more adorable and handsome than the typical Japanese anime figure. The voice acting is also excellent, cute and lovely. Plus, I love the native Malay language being used which sounds much softer and more pleasant than Japanese.
