The delicate manner to present a terrible incident is the basic motif to see this profound touching film. The best friend of a sensitive young man looking to the rape of his mate. The moral guilty. And a great job of Lasse Steen Jensen who use in precise manner his androgin look. A splendid short film about trust and coward reaction and friendship. Simple and profound pledge for the fair manner to see a painful trauma.
Real friendship is on display here with undercurrents. Jonnah obviously loves straight Demitri carnally as well as as a friend. Demitri loves Jonnah back and goes as far as he can to satisfy him.
There's a dream - or nightmare - sequence that is hard to understand at that point in the film until it's explained in dribs and drabs until the end. There's plainly a huge weight of guilt on Demitri's shoulders that Jonnah tries to lift.
Great acting from the two leads except for the snogging, which was not convincing.
I was intrigued by the mention of the Hotel Prora built by the Nazis as it has featured in a couple of other GT films. Perhaps gay guys feel themselves, lost in its vastness.
Anyway, this was a good short to recommend.

It's a sad tale, and a touching friendship movie. I admit, I only watched it to see Lasse's beautiful face, and to my surprise I was rewarded with an eyeful of his bulge, in addition. Can't complain. I really like it's honest, and true to life handling of the subject. It's really short, though. I feel like this could've been feature length. The acting is good, and the shots were all well done. The friendship chemistry is truly touching. I didn't want it to end.
Definitely worth a watch. The shots are stunning, the color contrast really caught my eye in a lot of scenes.
The story shed light on relevant issues that should be considered. The story is angsty, yet comforting somehow.
Overall, the dialogue was unique and original, it felt like a true story.
