Sweet international hate to love story between a Spaniard and an Italian.

This is a sweet and fun opposites attract love story that begins by a chance meeting in the airport in Prague. Both Candela (Megan Montaner) a flamenco dance instructor from Seville and Massimo (Alessandro Tiberi) a businessman from Rome were in the town of Prague on a one day business trip. Massimo was hoping to make a deal with his business plan to save his father's company and Candela was hoping to be paid in order to save her Flamenco dance studio in Seville (unfortunately she won't be paid for another three months as per her contract).

Candela runs into Massimo at the airport where they exchange words when his phone falls and breaks. In the process he drops his wallet and subsequently accuses her of theft. Needless to say these two do not get off to a great start, but after both of their flights are cancelled and the share a ride back into the city of Prague, they both end up at the same small restaurant for sentimental reasons...they discover that they were both at the same restaurant/inn ten years prior (aka the same time).

These two have a congenial walk in the city, but then say goodbye to one another, only to see the other in their lives back home (in their respective homes when they aren't really there). It almost as though they each need what the other has...Candela needs some of the fiscal responsibility of Massimo and Massimo needs to relax and be a little more free-spirited like Candela in order to think outside the box in order to save both of their respective companies.

It was really fun to see their contrasting lives and their different reactions to seeing someone who isn't there. I love the color and their witty repartee.

The writing is well done and as a romantic I highly recommend the series. It has a wonderful start, with the first episode giving you a good taste of what to expect for the rest of the series. If you like episode one, you will be hook. Megan Montaner is lovely and particularly engaging in this series.

Love it!!

I wish this series had higher ratings because it's amazing!

I really love this series, it's different to other love stories.

I reckon if it was in English and advertised well it would be huge! Like the 'kissing booth' movie series and other rom coms.

I wish more people watched TV shows and movie with subtitles. Its a great way to experience different cultures and unique takes with different prospectives.

Delightful love story

Loved this! I have a personal connection having spent time in Prague with someone I loved. The scenery in all countries is sumptuous. Highly recommend!

Smart, and lovely comedy.

A recommended romantic comedy to watch-especially with your couple. A series that combines laughs, moments of tenderness and dreamy European locations. Did I mention flamenco? It's an extraordinary addition to the story.

Unrealistic dribble

I watch a lot of international TV shows. I wanted to give this show a chance given the interesting sounding plot and the cross-cultural connections between the Czech Republic, Spain, and Italy. However, it is dry, unrealistic and boring. The lead actors speak entirely different languages in the same scenes (the actress speaks Spanish and the actor speaks Italian). Even when other characters speak English or Czech, the lead actors respond in Italian or Spanish (suggesting that they understand English or Czech!) ! This created a huge issue with fluidity and pacing. Then, the story itself is just boring. Star-crossed lovers who can't be together have been written about for centuries. Nothing new here.

Very enjoyable romantic comedy

I just discovered this series on the PBS Passport site, and I was hooked from the beginning. The concept of the series is that after a brief chance encounter in a Prague airport, main characters Massimo and Candela return to their home cities of Rome and Seville but can't stop thinking about one another. Each begins having recurring hallucinations or visitations by the other that no one else can see. These recurring hallucinations draw the two closer and closer despite their being over 1000 miles apart.

The chemistry between the two lead characters is very good, and Megan Montaner is especially memorable in her role as flamenco teacher Candela. Her character is fiery and passionate, just as one might expect from a hot-blooded flamenco dancer.

During their real and imaginary interactions, which are often full of rapid-fire dialog, Massimo speaks in Italian and Candela in Spanish, yet they understand each other perfectly. I suspended my disbelief, and just enjoyed the melody and cadence of both languages. Despite a few plot twists that made me roll my eyes, I kept coming back episode after episode. And I don't regret it for a moment.

Absolutely charming !

I saw the first two episodes of Love, Inevitably on PBS and I fell in love! Characters are terrific and very well played. Definitely an interesting storyline, refreshing in its simplicity. I've been searching for the past few years, trying to see where I could stream this. I am overjoyed I can view all episodes on IMDb. I only wish this was an ongoing series, I would like to see where life takes this couple on their journey (hopefully) together. Sometimes, there are not enough hours in the day! I don't mind the program not being in English, subtitles are fine by me. If it were in English, I think it would definitely lose something... perhaps in the translation...
