A no brainer movie..

95 minutes of pure nonsense.. But yet i kept giggling through the whole movie because of some really funny scenes.. I think if the movie makers had spent a bit more on better CGIS and script the movie would have been a lot better.. But still its a one time watchable movie.. To be tried at your own risk

Absolutely Hilarious... Not a really serious movie

Wow.. I think the movie title sounds like "hey, put on your seat belts, hold on tight, we're taking the definition of horror to a new height!".. Hell yeah!.. They did actually.. Not just how I expected they would.. Makes me wonder if they're trying to make me visualize a 60,000 feet perception of horror.. I mean you wouldn't really know it's horror from that distance would you??.. ANYWAYS... 3 star for me because it made me laugh, I enjoyed it, gosh! I even forgot the title of the movie, it was that bad! It's like a PARODY featuring a rip off of some major characters and plots you might be familiar with.. And not to spoil the fun.. I love the priest in this movie.. (chuckles)

They tried......but

They tried to make a horror spoof film but didnt succeed. Actoring was forced & amateur, comedy was forced and robotic. Script ran out of puff half way through(being generous). Set was to limited for feature length.

Very mundane for a horror comedy...

Well "Exorcism at 60,000 Feet" is listed to be a horror comedy, and I suppose it is. However, it just failed to turn out to be funny in my personal preference. I didn't really laugh or enjoy what transpired on the screen.

I managed to sit through half of the movie, before I gave up and decided not to finish the rest of the movie. Director Chad Ferrin just failed to entertain me with what he did with the material from writers Robert Rhine and Daniel Benton.

What lured me in to watch "Exorcism at 60,000 Feet" was the fact that it was a horror comedy, and most definitely because it had Bill Moseley, Lance Henriksen and Bai Ling on the cast list. Well, Lance Henriksen wasn't particularly impressive as the pilot in this movie, in fact his performance was just bland. Bill Moseley, while definitely had an interesting character and role, was just not utilized enough in the movie, his talent was just squandered. Bai Ling, however, well she was great in her role, and it was enjoyable to watch her, but she could do only so much to salvage a boring script and plot.

The effects in the movie were adequate. Although you shouldn't expect to be blown away by spectacular Hollywood CGI effects.

It was essentially the storyline that killed the movie for me. I found it to be dull, pointless and rather simplistic. There really was no purpose to the storyline, and that made it feel like a movie without a drive.

"Exorcism at 60,000 Feet" feels somewhat like a strange mutation of "Airplane", those classic comedy spoofs, but it just fails to deliver as much humor and enjoyment as they did.

My rating of "Exorcism at 60,000 Feet" lands on a mere three out of ten stars. You might prepare yourself for an emergency landing when you sit down and watch this 2019 horror comedy. I did, and I got out halfway through.

Some great comedy scenes throughout with excellent comic timing from the cast

You might call it an amalgamation of Airplane and Scary Movie with the ambience of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, but at the end of the day it's just a solid farcical comedy with several great performances including Bai Ling, Adrienne Barbeau (omg the dog!), Robert Miano, Lance Henrikson, Jin N. Tonic, Bill Moseley...I could go on. The only con is that it could have been 5 to 7 minutes shorter. Highly recommended and free on TUBI.

Duller and less fun as a plastic spoon

Good grief. This is unlikable and unfunny from the very first scene, mere exposition, and it never improves. It was a few noteworthy names in the cast that drew me in but to be very frank, I feel like I've been actively lied to. 'Exorcism at 60,000 feet' is all but unwatchable.

The "comedy" is unbelievably common, and mostly downright juvenile. In keeping with the spirit of the film, I'll generously assume that writers Robert Rhine and Daniel Benton, and director Chad Ferrin, were possessed by 12-year olds when they concocted this garbage. Every single joke or sight gag is either hopelessly boorish, and/or so overused as to be tired and bland beyond description, and so it is with the exaggerated characters and performances. For that matter, the acting here is some of the worst and laziest I can recall seeing - and I watched 'A karate Christmas miracle.'

I suppose the grotesque practical effects look good. The hair and makeup work generally, and costume design, are all swell. But this is the full extent of the praise I have to offer. Ferrin's direction is amateurish, and the fundamental camerawork is flailing. Computer-generated visuals and effects are lousy. Editing and sequencing are senseless. Dialogue and scene writing, like the humor broadly, are atrocious - to say nothing of shameful and utterly unnecessary transphobia, and racist stereotypes. Even without taking everything else into account, the plot in and of itself is poorly written, unconvincing, boring, and forgettable.

It doesn't matter how you stumbled upon this movie, or why you think it may be worth your time. It isn't. It's so rotten that even if you're hoping to get your kicks by mocking it, there's not one scrap of fun to be had. 'Exorcism at 60,000 feet' is abhorrent, undeserving rubbish, and no one should ever watch it.

Fun Horror Movie with a Great Cast

If you appreciate your horror films with a healthy dose of self-awareness and humor, you'll love "Exorcism at 60,000 Feet". This film never takes itself too seriously, and I mean that in the best way possible. The cast, including a slew of horror movie legends like Bill Moseley, Adrienne Barbeau, and Lance Henriksen as well as "The Crow" alum Bai Ling in a leading role have a blast delivering their lines on this over the top claustraphobic and demonic plane ride.

I won't throw any spoilers in here, but I can assure you of this. Because of how outlandish some of the scenes in this are, you WILL see one or two things you've NEVER seen in a horror film before.

To be clear, while the film itself isn't too serious, it IS a seriously well made film. The legends as well as a cast of newcomers all play their characters JUST right. There's no glaringly wooden acting like you see in a lot of other lower budget horror-comedies. The directing and the editing were also very well done throughout this fast paced film.

So if you're in the mood for a fun, gory, gratuitous and slapstick filled film, I say give "Exorcism at 60,000 Feet" a spin!

Stupid and funny, but oh is it ever funny.

I think for the people that didn't like this movie, they focused on the stupid rather than the funny. The cast is so good. The story is so stupid. The hijinks are so, so funny. Bai Ling was my favorite in this, her and the priest, but I really loved everyone. It's wrong, and raunchy, and ridiculous. But that's why it's good. All I kept thinking while watching this was this cast must've had a blast making this. I would recommend it... but only to certain people.

Stupid and crude and occasionally funny but plumbs the depths!

Matthew Moy was the best thing in this travesty; he was funny without even trying and to be fair there are a few laughs but the humour is crude and lewd to fit in with the modern generation where talent and good comedy scripts made movies like Airplane (1980) a success are a bygone era. Maybe it is just me but modern movies just seem to cater for the reality tv, spud brain section of the population and this exemplifies it in spades.

It is not terrible as it has its moments, nor is it terribly funny and to see venerable actors like Lance Henriksen stoop so low...well he seems to be doing it in every movie he makes now so it is of no surprise. Sad when you see his name in a movies credit now, then you know the movie will be less than stellar and of sub 5 star level of entertainment!

On a wing and a pray, thank god someone is making good movies.

Great movie, excellent cast and great vibe. I loved Plane Dead and when I found out about this I had to find it and watch it. It's not a full on as Plane Dead, it shoots more straight from the hip. It is unfortunate how many people these days are not happy unless the movie has a billion dollar budget, the ratings here prove how stupid the majority of viewers are. Enjoy it if you will let yourself. Great movie!

I laughed the whole time

I've just watched it and it was AMAZING. I laughed the whole time, amazing actors, amazing story and so damn funny!! I love exorcism movies and I love comedy but I've never seen these two elements combined together in such a well-done way before. If you like absurd comedy, over the top jokes, this movie is for you. If you're not ready to laugh, then don't watch. Thanks to the team and actors for producing and making such a funny and great movie. I have rarely given 10 stars to movies in my life, so this is the real deal to me!

Fun, lighthearted romp

You certainly get your money's worth in this cheapo comedy horror which won't be for all tastes. Made as a throwback to the goofy '80s romps invariably full of cheesy FX and camp action, this essentially charts the progress of a demonic force that spreads through the passengers of a mid-flight plane. Anyone taking this seriously will be disappointed, but for the rest of us it's a fun, light-hearted romp with all of the wackiness and crazy set-pieces you'd imagine. Particularly good is the cast, featuring throwback roles for the likes of Lance Henriksen, Adrienne Barbeau, Robert Miano, the wonderful Bai Ling, and many others.

A fun, geniunely funny spoof of a film.

This is everything you're looking for in a well made B movie. A lot of indie films forgot that B movies use to be classics and actually tongue in cheek well shot & spoof films. This one hits it in all the right places. The casting is a lot of fun. The film never takes itself too seriously and reviews that write otherwise clearly don't get the genre. Smoke a bowl, have a beer or pop some popcorn... whatever your vice and have a fun time with this movie.

Hilarity at 60, 000 feet

If you're watching a movie called Exorcism at 60, 000 Feet and find it too cheesy, I gotta ask, what did you think you were about to watch?

It's pure over the top cheesy fun from start to finish. If you like a good B-movie horror comedy, then this is the film for you. It's basically a bunch of stereotypes stuck on a plane from 1976, trying to survive possession. I love it.

This is one crazy flight! Great cast, score! It's Offensive and FUN!

I remember when the film Airplane came out and reviewers were calling it, "Offensive! Disgusting! Outrageous! Gross!, Stupid!, Lame!" and yet Airplane grossed 83 million dollars. You could say some of the same things about Exorcism at 60,000 Feet. It's not supposed to be brain science. It's just a freakin' crazy, fun wacky, comedy and a way to escape your brain for an hour and a half. The cast is a blast! Lance Henriksen as the retiring pilot on his last flight and his co-pilot Kevin J.O'Connor from The Mummy make a hell of a team as do Bai Ling (The Crow) and Matthew Moy (Two Broke Girls) as a duo of disgruntled stewardesses are fantastic together and could be a comedy series on their own. Robert Miano (Father Romero) plays it straight to the insanity around him and plays well off the Rabbi character (Robert Rhine). Even Kelli Maroney (Night of The Comet) is in the film and Adrienne Barbeau (Escape From NY) as a rich passenger with a support poodle! Richard Band (Re-Animator) did the amazing score. The tech is all good, camera work and lighting especially. There is a lot to see and the action keeps moving throughout. After being locked up for two months I relish a movie like this to take my mind off of things and Exorcism at 60,000 Feet does that in spades! So, be offended, outraged, grossed out. I think that is exactly what the filmmakers intended! Relax... it's just a movie.

Just a wild and whacky ride.

In this horrible time of a pandemic with at least 35 million people out of work and a looming depression, this film is just a bit of fun comic relief. It spoofs a variety of films, characters and stereotypes and is simply a bit of silly entertainment. So what's wrong with that? NOTHING !!! I was actually shocked by a few reviews which stated that the producers should be sued for ripping off The Exorcist and Airplane. Did they even read the title??? The WHOLE movie is a spoof on all of these. So.....for the PC crowd.....either lighten up for just over 90 minutes or don't even bother. For the rest of us....... just be happy that you can board this particular flight and practice your social distancing at the same time!

This plane delivers!!

This movie delivered everything I hoped it would, starting with the great poster. This is classic gonzo horror -- crazy, funny, outrageous, and sometimes with terrifying effects. The story is relentless and the characters are engaging and hilarious, though sometimes outright disturbing! I highly recommend Exorcism at 60,000 Feet if you want a great time. You might need an exorcism yourself afterwards!
