Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz

I am writing about this two weeks after watching it. So I am out of the phase you are in just after watching any movie.

From what I remember, i really enjoyed it. Yes, its slow but it builds up. I suppose they can't hurry it up. The lead actress role is very charming and she owns the audience with her vivaciousness (if that is actually a word).

I wouln't watch it again, but it is one of those soothing ones, which evokes innocence, love, empathy and brashness of society.

I like when i see such movies, as these are not big hits becasue they don't have the general winning formulae. However, this does not lack in content, story telling and originality. Also well supported by the lead roles.

Worth a watch.

There is a very light warmth in this story. It would make you feel emotional, romantic and at the same time will fill you with light. A very urban story, plot is simple and perfectly presented. Actors did a great job specially Geetanjali who knitted the story with her innocence and honesty. Ending was very warming which leaves you with a broad smile and delicate warm kolkata air in cool valley of Shimla.

I was taken aback by seeing the performances from each of the characters they were so real....... Two main characters don't share screen space in full movie till the last scene yet their chemistry is ming bogling....

And those lovely "Sher" by Alfaz.... loved them to core.....

See it only when you are alone and have nothing better to do... and you will like this movie like never before for sure...As many emotions shown in this may feel awkward when we are seeing with someone else.. .but when we are alone we really like the real core human emotions to pour into our heart and make it beat again....

Kuch Bheege Alfaaz takes time but at the end connect with your soul and stays along with you all the day.

Onir known for his absolute artistic work comes with this amazing piece of beauty after a while and he is surely successful here. The film doesn't slowly express actually. It is the soul of the film that is slow. But this slowness keeps it natural and keep you hooked with it until the 2nd part comes which is pure brilliance.

Archana Pradhan(Gitanjali Thapa) work in an sarcasm website whose work is to make memes. Her friend Apu (Shrey Ray Tiwari) also works with her and loves her though even with the imperfection on her face. But Archana (AKA Archi) can't admire him as his lover. And the third person who comes in this film is Alfaaz who is an RJ of 92.7 big FM and everyone is almost fan for his voice on his show 'Kuch Bheege Alfaaz'. Now their story unfolds with some online talks. They doesn't talk, they express their feelings. And this feelings are so true that makes a WE TOO feeling.

Geetanjali Thapa is an amazing actress who proves her skill with his simplest body language in this film too that makes us feel for her like our neighborhood girl. But surprisingly Zain Khan was better than Gitanjali in this film, the last crying scene gives a goosebumps just not only because the story but also because of his acting and for the whole screen time he is genuinely successful to show that mannered behavior that's all he had to show. The background score is the best power of this movie and I've to say it is the best of 2018 even better than 'October'. Cinematography is well though.

After all if one word I've to say about the film then it's "Poetical-beauty".

In the horde of films that try too hard to achieve some sort of "greatness", this cute little film settle for humility and simplicity of the story and characters. The story is like a warm wind which keeps flowing. Archana is a woman that a man would desire and Alfaaz is a man that a woman would desire. Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz shows the sweeter side of life.
