Of all the tacky tea time quiz shows ever made this must rank close to being the worst. Collecting letters after each round - why! It makes no difference as winner ends up with them all Mels over acting and constantly trying to be funny just doesn't work.

Finally hangman on TV just doesn't work. With all BBC's money is this the best they can do? Plenty are stealing a living here....

Dreadful,absolutely,dreadful. This is the final dumbing down of gameshows. Who thinks this mince up. Hangman are you having a laugh. Is this what we are paying our license for.

I don't think this proposes to challenge Mastermind but it's good fun. Yes Mel doesn't have a lot to work with but she seems to be warming to the job. It's fun to play along with and it's becoming a little cultish in our house!

Mel stop with all the talk and trying too hard to be funny. It's annoying.

Letterbox has to be the worst game show on TV. The concept is so simple and only matched by the contestants who clearly struggle with English as a language. Once you get over how stupid the game is all you are left with is 30 minutes of the parlour game Hangman. Mel Gedroic is much better than this show deserves. I hope Gogglebox reviews it and drives the final nail in the coffinm Guess the next letter BBC: _ U B B I S H.

The BBC should bow its head in shame putting on this terrible rubbish. I also never understand how the totally pointless Pointless gets so much airtime other than because, like Letterbox, it must be the cheapest tv to produce. Take a look at ITVs The Chase to see how a good quiz programme should be done! Doesnt insult the intelligence of its viewers fast-moving, fun, exciting with an engaging presenter!!
