Story: You know it already from the trailer.

Making: It's very grand and huge in scale.

Acting: Only Alia Bhat acts in this whole movie.

Direction: There was no need for director since there is no story.

Overall: Waste of time and money.

Very good movie ..different story then usual love stories nowadays... Excellent performance by all actors. I reccomend everyone to go and watch it then give verdict. well done all cast and crew.!!

This film should and could have been a lot better with some more rewrites but a lot of the film works. The dialogue is extremely over the top to the point where every sentence uttered by a character is a metaphor at times. Although I feel some lines do come together at the end successfuly. The songs are fantastic. It looks and sounds brilliant. 10/10 in that regard. It's just the story doesn't really hook you until near the end. I feel the acting was quite good overall but the standouts were definitely Varun Dhawan and Madhuri. It ends on a good note which makes the whole experience worth it for me. I wish more effort was put into the story though.

I went in with the lowest possible expectations for this movie after seeing the reviews ripping this movie apart. Afterwards I just couldn't understand as to why it was rated so badly??

It was actually a pretty decent movie and a storyline. Yes it wasn't no masterpiece but still pretty good. Only scene which was bad was the bull fighting but I really loved watching Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri I'm the same frame after such a long time. Alia Bhatt did pretty decent and Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor was really good. Loved Arjit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal voices. Storytelling was done really well and there were some really emotional scenes.

I don't know if Indian audiences have lost their minds or was it because there was a Muslim angle in this movie and politics kicked in around elections? I just don't know but to me this movie was worth my money!!!

I haven't found any story in this movie. I don't know what actually the director wanted to tell the audience.. Otherwise the songs, acting of each role, some close shots are very nice... All the characters played their roles quite beautifully.. specially Alia Bhatt.. she was brilliant throughout the movie... I am giving it 6 out off 10..
