It is just the way it was

The screenplay is based in the first giant judicial cause against narcos in Spain. It is a perfect representation of the time: the music, the accent, the way they move, the clothing, the cars, how they male smoke, the Atlantic ocean. The political corruption. Impressive in all ways. Recreation of that years, actors, script, direction. Is the best spanish serie I have seen in a long time.

Fariña is the example that the open series (Antena 3) can be of great quality. Outside the controversy with the book on which it is based, which can be used to put pure gossip, there is much more. The novel the series is based on was seized by court order on February 2018, only to rocket to the top of Amazon's bestsellers list before the seizure was enforced. Antena 3 took advantage of the controversy to set an early premiere, since the series was not affected by the order, which eventually turned into the full series release. The seizure order was lifted in June 2018, more than a month after the series finale aired.

Errores
The series often shows TV broadcasts in black and white despite beginning in 1981, years after the Spanish public broadcasting company switched completely to color in 1977. However, it is possible that all the TVs in the series just happen to be old models that cannot show color.
