Full of melodrama, impractical story, over protective grand parents.

After Watching Belasheshe and Prakton, I being a great fan of Nandita Roy & Shibprashad Mukherjee. I really expected from Posto and my expectations are fulfilled. This film is about a family where Father, Son and his Grandson is in main attraction. You can learn many solution of family problems by seeing this movie. It has to mention that Film Makers have to some extra-ordinary vision like Nandita Roy & Shibprashad Mukherjee. Thanks a lot.

Set in Shantiniketan and Kolkata, it is a roller coaster ride of the emotions of a grandfather who wants good care of his grandchild. A directorial treat, brilliantly acted and awesome cinematography.

Every Nandita-Shiboprasad film has the same problem. The content is really good. They really do their research and make films on really good topics. However, in every film of theirs, they completely mess up the execution. They are so focused on making a family-friendly 'happy-ending' sort of a film, that they completely miss out on making their films more realistic and humane. Every film of theirs lacks polish, subtlety and the touch of a good filmmaker. However, in this film, even some of the content was rather stupid. There are various plot holes, and some of the characters were busy doing jatra (melodrama) rather than actually act. This was a very disappointing film, in spite of a really good cast (except one or two absolutely terrible actors).

Bangla cinema doesn't seem to have any other plot apart from tearing family relationships! Great acting but why portray the lame old stories of son living abroad/ going abroad and parents lamenting!
