Spy Kids: Mission Critical

This TV series based on the Spy Kids franchise is so awesome. I wish Buzz Lightyear was in it. Original Toy Story elements belong to Walt Disney Pictures

I am an adult and after 2 episodes I became emotionally invested. I love this show. I'm obsessed with Carmen, was a fan of Ashley Bornancin since Camp WWE. I'm also obsessed with Glitch because I feel like I'm the real life Glitch and Sir Awesome and his little coffee cups LOL!!!! I will be making my husband watch the rest of the season. Keep em comin.

I was scrolling through the animation section on Netflix and saw this new Spy Kids: Mission Critical tv series. I watched the first episode to see the similarities to the movies.

1. The characters' names are all the same... including Juni & Carmen! 2. There's a Thumb-thumb (one of the henchmen in the first Spy Kids movie) 3. Carmen mentions her past enemy Floop 4. The Third-brain creation from the 1st Spy Kids is discussed. 5. The OSS is discussed throughout the show.

The first episode was a little funny. The funniest part was this running gag where Juni couldn't understand this Australian guy's name because he was saying "Mate," after his name. I probably won't watch any more episodes because it didn't interest me THAT much but you should check it out if you grew up with Spy Kids. You could even watch it with your kids. It won't ruin your childhood like Spy Kids 4: All The Time in The World did. xD

The original idea in spy kids was about adventures and wild technological gadgets. this show (for kids?) Is full of physical fights. Punches, kicks,taco and burrito nonsense jokes. Always painfull to realize that non latín people can make ethnic jokes without consequences and even make it to netflix.

Wow, for all the people who have loved Spy Kids over the years, this show is incredible. The writing, animation, composing, and incredible voice talent - you just can't beat it. Our whole family loves this show, from the kids to the adults. Can't wait for all new seasons!!!
