In my opinion this is the best michael jackson music video ever out of all of his videos i like them all but this one is my most favorite because its really special his dress red suit shoes,hairstyle and bracelet it totally represents 90s .
this came out in 1997 as a single included in the remixed album tittled blood on the dance floor:history in the mix .the cd was best selling at number 1 spot in 97 one can see why i have heard all michael jackson songs and albums from his mowtown years in 70s to his other albums like off the wall,thriller,bad and dangerous,history 1995,and invincible his last album, this one is a remix album with some of his old songs remixed but also got some new tracks as well
musically and visually michael jackson was a genius there is no doubt about that in this video he does not do his trademark moonwalk but still it looks amazing also his vocal performance and composition is outstanding the best thing about michael jackson was he was a technical master at work he prefered quality over quantity in all aspect,the sound design,dance and video shoots etc.
blood on the dance floor song is about a girl and the lyrics are gold specially when he starts she got your number how does it feel,the dancer sybil azur look sexy the chemistry between her and michael is just fire.
its been near 20 years or more since this video was released and look at the quality of it. it surpasses any music video released today,there was a reason michael jackson was,is & will be the number 1 selling artist of all time in the world ,its because quality matters..this video is a proof of it
