Watching this series was such a journey! So full of surprises! The good, bad and ugly .. I've cried so much watching this, especially the 3rd and final season .. it was so sweet and it hurt so good. This is one of the best series' I've ever watched .., Turkish and otherwise It had a wonderful cast that did such a great job, I'll never forget them. They brought the characters to life and made us believe in them so much they felt like family to me by the end of the series! I LOVE this show <3

I'm watching this in the USA but You Tube does not have all the episodes. Can anyone tell me if Season 1 and 2 are available on DVDs. Continued success to actors. Grateful

The storyline is wonderful i liked it it's my favourite series i didn't watch a series like it before

A Turkish serie. using classic recipe of soap opera. proposing well known situations, characters and problems. using the right actors for be characters who are new versions of parts of conflicts, tensions, expectations and love story. but, like each Turkish series, giving more than stories. maybe a state. or specific atmosphere. or perfect answers to the public expectations , public looking for modern fairy tales about handsome rich good looking guys and lovely, delicate, gorgeous young women. so, great choice for a perfect target.

Without a doubt excellent production, but tiresome, it suffered like all of this cut, it became too heavy because they did not know how to manage well the entrance of characters from the past, more or less well the thread of Begun and Faruk's son, but too much that at one moment there are 5 threads of relationships making it heavy because they all went about the same thing, misunderstandings predominate too much and there are times that it bothers, one of the best parts are the Flasbak, especially those of Galip and Mrs. Esma, of course there are times that it confuses and the situation of Fikret and Ipek becomes strong, the situation of that thread sometimes becomes annoying and tedious, and they also add the relationship of the Aunt and Dilaea, one of the best is the part of the Therapist towards Adem, and in one or another very well achieved the way they polished the character, in my good view it is at the end the relationship of all the Brothers especially Faruk and Fikret, but I do not understand why in the series once they take one of the characters out of the family environment he does not return to the screen even to say goodbye to his mother, which I see as illogical being a family that is based on the family, but in short a series that can be seen twice because without a doubt one does not capture the essence of what family is and why Mrs. Esma's struggle to keep the family together and the importance of eating at a table all together, undoubtedly leaves many lessons especially to marriages and their journey in married life, it is a journey where you see that hiding the truths and feelings never solves anything and that in one way or another it reaches you, without a doubt always grateful that they did not use the hype of the kidnapping of babies, there were not many outstanding brilliant things but with a quite acceptable ending ... a series that is preferable to see Live than to see it again by chapters ... instructive series in many situations ... recommended to take into account.

Good music actors and scripts real characters, neither good nor bad people with positive and negative traits, everyone is right for themselves.

The best Turkish series of all time. Lots of emotions, each episode is unique. You get so attached to each of the characters that you love them from the bottom of your heart. The series is just beautiful and AMAZING I cried when it ended and I couldn't watch another series after. Istanbullu gelin really the best series to watch so many lessons to learn from it laughs tears messages full of meaning. Family, love and sharing take on their full meaning. Words cannot describe how exceptional this series is. Thank you from the smallest to the largest for this just PERFECT work.

I could give it a zero if possible. I don't understand the fuss around this story: extremely pretentious, ultra boring storyline, dragged out, & to top the first three points, unnecessarily & hyper emotional🙄. Especially the loooong songs in-between the acting - emotionally draining & very exaggerated.

People must have some very twisted relationships if they're learning anything from this.

I mentally quit during the first few episodes where Ferit found out he was having a child & jumped on the floor to where those on the floor below could hear - like really😒😒?! Apparently that was supposed to be cute or something; came off lame imo. Also, those floors are weak; the chandelier below it just about swayed.

Also, the hero & fix-it-all daughter-in-law storyline is getting stale. Apparently this family of 4 boys (men) & their mother are nowhere near capable of sorting out even basic adult family relations but lo & behold, Sureya the savior swooped in just in time to be the voice of reason & peace ALL THE TIME🙄🤣. Get outta here!! Immature script writing.

All in all a very depressing, narly, & dragged out storyline. Could have summed up the story in the number of episodes of the first season.

Who wants to come home from work to a depressing story?? If you do, this is right up your alley; otherwise, not worth any of your senses & time!!!

Wonderful story. family cooperation, dominate mother and how could the family fight to be together. the power of love is amazing , really I am on love with everyone who acting especially Faruk and Sureyya

Ms. Ipek Bilgin, what a wonderful actress and play in Istanbul gelin, she deserve Oscar for her roll, looking forward to see her in future series and movies, story of Istanbul gelin is great and loved it.

This is one of the best series I have ever watched. It's piece of art : music and soundtracks, emotions, characters, scenario. Each episode is like a 4 season (you laugh, you cry, you get inspired). Amazing dialogs between Adam and the psychotherapeut, Türeyya and Esma, Türeyya and Osman, Garib and Esma... It's like between every two characters, there is a story to tell, there is a message to understand, a lesson of life.

The playlist is a true gem, it's a mix of old and modern songs that you discover all along the way.

The acting was excellent, one of the best casts ever. I enjoyed watching every episode. Istanbullu Gelin, thank you<3!

This is the greatest TV Series I have seen.

I have seen most of the Turkish movies and the TV Series however, The Bride Of Istanbullu Gelin is the best.

This is the best of best.

Starting with the first Episode to the last Episode The Mother was very much into her role.

OzcanDeniz and Asli Enver were great in their roles.

I hope they will be together in future projects.

I have watched this TV Series three times and still watch certain Episodes.

Lovely story with great actors. The actors were superb. It was hard at times to believe they were acting a role, it was just so real. You will be hook for hours and it was worth it.

I would like to thank the writers and directors for such a wonderful series.

Praise to all the actors,especially Ipek and Asli who are my favorite.

A beautiful series, perfect cast , each character gives so much and joy to watch , musics are beautiful, this series has everything about life the laughs, sorrow, anger, joy, humanity, foresight and so much more, wonderful to watch of transformation of Adem , very professionally done those scenes with his consultation with psychiatrist, he is an amazing actor, in few episodes we become part of this family, definitely worth the watch , they used everything so well the light, the music, bit surprised why it is not as famous as other series , love it so much, every episode feel sorrow anger tension love joy laughter... love love love.

I finished this series over 6 months. It was like a gift that kept giving me so much warmth and emotion. These characters were explored in such a real way. Yes it's a soap opera and there were some episodes where I fast forwarded but they still kept me hooked.

What a phenomenal actress Ipek B is. And I'm just in awe of Zeynep Guna Tan and Denise Kolos. They've created characters who felt like my friends and family by the time I was done with 100 episodes. Special mention to the actor who played Adem. I didn't like him in the beginning and forwarded his initial scenes but wow how he grows and wows!
