A nice breezy love story. Two main characters with enormous chemistry. George Hus natural ness is the highliight of the serial . And then a bunch of cackling women. A bad behaved
nosy sisterand another one, immature crybaby. A father more worried about his daughters anger than her health and treatment of cancer.
Verbosity meant I could see each episode in 10 minutes.

It took awhile to watch but the ending made it all worth it. I was a little annoyed at how the grandmother acted and it made me skip through her parts at some times. I also wasn't thrilled with Shi-yun's "stalker/boyfriend", not the age gape part but the way he was, it was just a little creepy in my opinion. I loved the main characters, they worked great together and you could see their chemistry even if it was only acting, it appears they could be friends in real life. Annie and George are great actors and talented in their craft! I also loved our 2nd couple, Qi-ming and Cai-rong, I shipped them from the beginning! I was also tickled with Yi-ru's Sisters' choice at the end, I was rooting for them all the way from when they met! And lastly Yi-ru's Father was great also, he makes every show he's in! I also enjoyed the storyline and even though the beginning vacation was my favorite part, I also enjoyed how they got together and the ending of course! I'd recommend if you have time to watch this, you'll surely enjoy it.
Thank YOU!! I absolutely loved Love Now - It made me laugh, it made cry- I didn't want it to end. It's definitely a show I will watch again, yes all 72 episodes ..Loved the characters !! What a great love story !!
Easy watch. Predictable. The two main characters are pretty nauseating, I think you can see them developing a real love for each other on screen, so lots of sparks and chemistry between them (I think they're married in real life now).
For me, the best character was Sun Qi-Ming who had a bit more of a back story and depth. He's funny too. He was also in the best and more interesting couple in the series. The bromance between him and Lan Shi-De was also my favourite. Their drunken shenanigans were pretty funny. I think George Hu acts better in English, the few English lines he speaks seem a bit more natural, maybe that just comes more naturally to him being from the States originally. 🤔
72 episodes was a bit long, for ages not much happens, I found myself having to watch it on fast forward sometimes, especially bits with the grandmother having a child tantrum (I found her a bit annoying!). And I didn't really find Lan Shi-Yun's relationships of interest or very convincing.
Overall, a nice bit of escapism. Some Taiwan dramas can get quite dark, but this sits firmly in the light, romantic comedy genre with some emotional bits. Translation is a bit ropey as with all the asian dramas.

We watched all 72 episodes, lol. When it first showed up on Netflix it showed only 12 episodes and while we were watching the first few it changed to 72 episodes, but we couldn't select the episodes, so we were wondering which was correct. Only when we got into 20+ episodes did it start working correctly.
This show is light fluff. The conflicts are generally pretty minor, the reactions overblown and the solutions surprisingly simply and quick. There is the primary romance and a secondary romance with two additional relationships. Business issues, health and accidents fill out all the conflicts.
If you like your romances naive and simple, then you will probably like this. It is too simple for our tastes, but the acting is good enough that I blame the writer(s) for the slow, mostly boring script and simplistic characters. We did finish it, but there were times we considered moving on to another show. Just finishing it deserves 5 or 6 stars, so we decided to be generous.
Just an FYI, the English subs are iffy, every episode has some literal translations that miss the meaning. It didn't really bother us as we both speak Chinese.
