If you come from other Rythm videogames and start ranking its Highly probable that you'll get insta-banned by a bot and then moderators will refuse to unban unless you got clear proof of you not cheating (Recording game+camera of your keyboard playing), only option is to ''admit'' cheating to reduce the ban time, even if you got evidence they'll try to trick you into admiting cheating.

Community and moderation are also very toxic. This may sound offensive but they are the clear definition of ''Incel''. You'll get all kinds of offensive comments while trying to socialize with its community and god forbid you are a woman in Osu!.

The game also overall feels too bad compared to the original videogames. Too laggy and barely configurable via the Menu, you'll have to learn how to make Osu! Skins to modify even the most basic stuff for rythm videogames.

I have to add that it also has a very laggy feeling to it, even though the graph shows over 1k FPS and less than 0,5ms response there's a lot of stutters and ghosting, which doesn't happen in other games like StepMania or Taiko. Their solution is to set the FPS to a fixed amount but that increases the ms response time considerably and making in unbearable for players that became accustomed to low ms.
