Jestem morderca

I suppose, looking at 70's Polish detective work through the lens of 2020's technology, makes the investigators in I'm A Killer (Jestem Morderca) seem inept, like a European version of the Keystone Kops. There's just no way their constant bumbling and fumbling of crime scenes could be that profound. Yet, there it was, shown in all its noir glory.

Many of the characters in I'm A Killer were unlikable buffoons, but I'm guessing that was purposeful, perhaps meant to show just how weak evidence gathering was, causing people who may be innocent to get to death row.

At times, the pacing was snail-slow. Still, was it a watchable film? Maybe. If you miss it, no biggie. If you do catch it, just know it's not the highly rated experience some reviewers say it is.

From start to end there is questions in the movie, sometimes there is answers but should be revealed. its polish masterpiece movie, Arkadiusz Jakubik act great.

Wow a true hidden gem...A brilliant performance by Miroslaw with all cleverness,guilty&frustation lived upto the role.... Crispy screenplay by director pieprzyca fetched him some great awards who actually made a document of same plot way back in 1998...Jakubik portrayal as culprit Kalicki will haunt u for sometime with his effortless stunning to the core...early scenes of crime spot was realistic and perfect.... Rest of the characters does justify their role to keep u glued untill the end.... On whole if ur a true movie buff this movie will remain in ur elite list of all time favourite list and hidden gem from the polish cinema.

What a load of nonsense. Not the story of the silesian vampire. This is fiction based on the killings. It leaves a bitter taste and not sure what is the writer is trying to prove.
