This is an advert calender for kids.

When the magic was still present, the elfs an humans lived together in synergy and happiness. Each christmas eve, an elf and a human would meet and enlighten the christmas star which gave magic to the elfs. But time changed, and the elfs lost the magic and contact with the humans, almost 100 years after the event, the magic might be lost forever....

We follow the main characters in each seperate world, Tinka (elf) and Lasse (human). One day, Tinkas finds a mirror, which is magical and allows her to enter through a portal, into the human world. Here she meets Lasse, and together they devote themselves to recreate magic in the world, and their mission is to bring it back before the evil prince can conquer the elfs magic and world all alone.

The show is joyful, regardless of age. Enhanced by great music, special effects, and some young talented actors. It is indeed predictable, and in many ways exactly what you expect - and hope for, in an advert calender.

It may be for children, but oh my god, is it an enjoyable magical trip. Everything it tosses at us, it captures it beautifully. The magic shown in the show is made so well, it genuinely made me feel like a kid. It has everything you want in a Christmas series, and more. It's simply beautiful. The first episode is an amazing introduction to the characters, while still keeping it suspenseful and having some subtle foreshadowing that blends well. Every single episode is unique, and always has it's own twist. The 24th episode captures everything we've seen in the series, but escalates it by 200. I love this series, and it will always be something I'll watch on X-mas.
