Loudermilk

Really loved the first 4 episodes until it got to the whole storyline with Cutter and Tom, which quickly descended into a farce. It was flogged to death and truthfully it robbed us of time spent with the main characters. Loudermilk as a character was brilliant, funny, beautifully acidic and an anti hero for the age.

The meetings introduced some brilliant characters and sub plots and as with most great comedies, there were moments of true melancholie.

It's a shame because without the wander into the absurd, this show could have been mentioned in the same terms as Curb your Enthusiasm or Veep.

I had given up finding anything new that would hold my attention, I usually don't watch sitcoms, and this was a breath of fresh air. I gave it a shot and before I knew it I had watched 4 episodes back to back. Really good, Will is such a great addition to the cast and I found myself snorting out loud quite a bit. I am still on the first season but so far so good!

And Tom!

Keep EVERYTHING else!!!

Oh, that's too short for submission... I guess I have to actually SAY that I really like everything about this series - except for the Cutter/Tom storyline. I hope THAT is long enough...

I stumbled across this and was hooked from the first episode. It's a dark comedy with very real and life changing stories. The main actor was born for this type of role and some scenes will even bring tears to your eyes. Really great show I hope they make more than the 3 seasons to date.

I'm 4 episodes in and I have to admit it's great. Haven't seen something like this in a while. It has the same feel as Casual and/or Californication (without all the sex and nudity).

I always liked Livingston. Too bad he mostly doesn't get the credit he deserves. The girl playing Claire is a small revelation. I guess it's a little predictable, but who cares as long as it embodies whit and grit, right?

One of the better comedic efforts in recent years. 7.5/10
