The Illusion of Control

Very interesting film. The intrigue lasts until the end of the picture. The plot is very unusual. Good filming quality, great acting. Separately respect to the director. I recommend for viewing in a good company.

I enjoyed this movie. It was engaging and never boring. The story kept a fast pace and the production/acting was very cool. Sometimes watching movies in another language with subtitles is tough for me. I didn't feel that way about this film at all.

Absolutely by accident, without much desire, I chose to watch this film and was literally stunned by its incredible plot!!! A few days ago I left a review for the 1997 "The Game" movie with Michael Douglas and here you are - get a modern version of that incredible psychological drama!

The plot is presented so beautifully at the beginning of the film that it seems that now there will be a funny comedy like "Now You See Me" 2013, but it wasn't anywhere near!!! This is a masterpiece - my mind was broken into pieces while watching it - the plot twists change so quickly and dynamically that sometimes you don't have time to keep track of everything. There were moments when I could not figure out where the real reality was.

The thriller is very powerful - you are in suspense throughout the whole film, there are murders, chases, explosions. The drama is strong - betrayals and setups of friends, difficult relationships between the parents and the child. Magnificent views, locations, accompanying music - sometimes you get distracted by some kind of peace and pleasant atmosphere - then again drive, dynamics, plot twist.

I am very excited about the movie. Recommended to all fans of psychological dramas and thrillers! By the way, do not turn it off as soon as the credits go - the creators left you a surprise))

It was fantastic, I would even say perfect in today's reality!!! Guys, I have no words. Just finished watching this creation and my rating for the film is 10 out of 10. It's worth it!

For the first 20 minutes you think: "What kind of nonsense is this? Why am I watching this? .."

First impression is that you don't understand anything... This is some kind of..

"Is the director going crazy? Or me?"

All genres seemed to be mixed together... They added different houses - beautiful forests - extraordinary nature - various clothes -...

And everything happens very quickly, even for me)) As time goes by, you look at the screen and think only about one thing: "Well, well, what's next? Mmm ..." All in all very intriguing... And interesting! Fascinating!!!

It has everything - businessmen, contracts, secrets, surveillance, nature, private helicopters... For example scenes in the forest... this is an unusual settlement with weird people living in it. Maybe I didn't watch this type of films a lot - not really my genre. But it seemed to me that everything was shown in a new way here. And very unusual...

I didn't quite get the ending. Explain to me, please, who understood ... Not the whole film, but the very end. The rest was excellent. For me, it all happened too fast. The head is still spinning.)))

I watched this movie with my husband yesterday. Oh my god, I love it! Hurry up, grab some popcorn and watch the movie!

The very beginning of the film makes you to be immediately involved in the process. A lot of information is given out. My brains boiled a little from such a load at the very beginning. Interesting start to the story...

Toward the middle, I found the film to be a little boring, long. Throughout the film, the audience and the main characters do not understand what is happening. The whole movie keeps you in the dark. At first, this causes curiosity, intrigue, but over time, there are even more mysteries, and at some point, boredom appears.

At one point, there was a feeling that there was already too much with riddles. A thought flashed through my head: "Well, I already understood that everything is so hidden there. Can you already show what is behind the scenes?"

However, all this uncertainty makes you continue to watch the film. What is hidden there, who is behind this all? Sometimes I was delighted with how everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The appearance of the lead actor (Oleg Fendura) in this role seemed to me somehow stupid. Although he plays a smart, successful man, I couldn't help feeling like he was some kind of smuggler with his beard.

The ending is just awesome, I loved it a lot! My eyes widened in amazement, my jaw dropped in shock. I screamed loudly: "This is f..king .... incredible .... What a cool movie!" This emotion came at the very end. The creators have been preparing you for this moment the whole movie. I cried with the main character at the very end. Because I imagine what he had to go through... It's really hard... I advise everyone to watch this movie. Watch, relax, enjoy, sometimes get bored)) By the way, you will also have to think a lot )) I'm beginning to think that I like thrillers the most...
