A cute love comedy, telling a story about pursuing dreams and witnessing miracles.The overall atmosphere is excellent and the scenery in this film is very beautiful.Russian on the ice,cold,hyaline and pure.

Can anything break the bond of two individuals that love each other as much as the two in this movie? Life is unpredictable and movies are too. One thing is for sure: there is a lot of drama! And a lot of what might feel like real life. And it is not made like a TV movie at all.

Doing things for the right reasons - does not mean that what you do is the right thing. Especially not when it comes to kids and or relatives. Also no one can be right 100% of the time. Getting to the point of accepting that is tough enough. But not impossible. The movie relishes in relationships - mostly broken ones because of egos or because of missunderstandings. Wanting the same thing but with a different method - straining process that.

Tensions are high though and the movie keeps you on your toes. I like how it builds up and how the characters grow ... to the only conclusion that I feel is right (even if it may be at times a bit too dramatic for its own good - especially towards the end)

It looks like the typical sports love story I had seen before and to add insult to injury it was also a musical... I would never have seen this movie if it wasn't for Alexander Petrov whom I fell for in T-34, and it was a nice surprise for me, I thought he would be serious in this movie too, Petrov's Sacha was like Loki in the Avengers, the most interesting and funny character in the story, I also have to give credit to the actor who played the mean Leonov, the mean coach Seva and Irina Sergeievna, the good coach.

I can't believe this is the leading actress's first film, she has done a great job. The two actors are good as well. The movie itself is not only a love story, it is also a movie about dreams, about sport and about family. I just love it!

This movie is so excellent! It got my adrenalin pumping. Begin again, dreams will come true finally. I was also touched by their love. When you want to give up, love will give you courage to move on.

An unbelievable number of excessively positive reviews for a 2018 movie, with most reviews submitted within a couple of days of each other - they are so obviously fake to boost the rating of this movie that they are quite laughable. Sad really that those backing the movie think that we are so gullible - talk about "fake news". The movie itself is quite average.

I don't review movies here very often, not being the greatest at formulating my thoughts into a concise opinion, but this movie deserves a little extra praise. I don't normally like romance genre, but I gave Ice a go because of its interesting premise. I'm so glad I did! This movie has so much more than just cheesy romance: drama, inspirational success story, fun musical acts, beautiful cinematography, and charming leading actors. Yes, it's a bit exaggerated in some places, but it's a heart-warming, gut-wrenching hell of a movie appropriate for all ages.

I started watching this movie with absolutely no expectations and I was still let down. This movie changes pace and tone so often and so drastically at some point it felt like there were 3 crews making 3 separate movies with same-ish plot and then at some point they decided to mesh their material into 1 movie for some reason. The story is cheesy and at some points makes no sense at all. I usually don't mind musicals but here I understood some people's detest of them because musical parts might be one of the most annoying and unnecessary parts of the film

It tells a story about a girl embrace the failure and reborn in adversity , just believe herself even through so many difficulty she must deal with. You gonna love it , when you are able to soar above the skies of dreams.

A love story that will be watches through the ages.

"I, Tonya (2017)" is much more convincing and without too much pathos.

What a fantastic film!! Of course some things were of the "only in the movies" variety but the sentiment is so powerful that you do not care at all. In the last scene I was bawling my eyes out. What an incredible energy! It is the second time in my life that I try a russian movie and like the first time I am not disappointed in the least. If you love sports movies like I do, you're surely gonna enjoy this. Besides, the male protagonist is SO cheerful that he's gonna make your day.

If you have some free time, don't spend it useless watching this movie. The reviews here are absolutely fake. Obviously, it's the first movie of the actress, she wasn't really nice. Her partner, Petrov, is kind of annoying as well. The plot is ordinary and boring. Also it was like I was watching three different movies, seems that there were different directors. The musical moments were awful and dull. Not watching this ever again, only if someone would threaten me with a gun and told me to watch it in order to stay alive.

This is a kind of romantic comedy but it is much more emotional and less cheesy in my opinion. Main characters are gorgeous but in a typical Russian way (even though one of them is Serbian) and I loved the chemistry between them. I felt their love, maybe because they were together off set at the time of the making of this movie. There are also important life lessons to be learnt from this movie. I loved id and it touched my heart and soul so it is worth watching.

Just finish the movie and I love it, especially the singing and dancing parts in it. The movie didn't want itself to be just another romantic story, so we can see a lot of elements besides love.

What a fantastic story! Remind me of my mother who encourage me to chasing my dream. So touching!

Ah God... THIS MOVIE. I'm not typically into romance stories or movies, but this one is an exception. I can't even think of this movie without getting goosebumps.

The film is perfect! The story is great. There are several very emotional moments and I like that. The actors did a great job, especially Milos Bikovic. Don't miss this film!

Romantic drama film depicting the story of young man who fell in love with a brave and beautiful young woman

Although this is a romantic comedy/musical, this is also at times a very emotional and dramatic film, I think, with also some sad moments. So I was really very glad and relieved that this particular Russian romantic film had a really nice happy end :) Nadya and Sasha - the two main protagonists in this very educational story - also had a great chemistry, I think, making the movie extra-special. This film is also a great testament of resilience in the face of adversity, and the unshakeable belief in the power of the human spirit; reminding us that we have the magic power, to manifest dreams, love and positive change!

Beautiful message for our children, great acting, and the musical scenes were originally done. I suggest to watch it with subtitles and not dubbed.
