Warrior

Preguntas Frecuentes

Bruce Lee wrote a 8 page script for this show (could be a movie idea) when he was alive and Shannon Lee has approved this. You should be able to see interviews and other special edition BTS on youtube that explains why Bruce Lee has credit for those who are interested

They use contemporary language to represent the "vulgarity" of the time. If they used the actual way that people spoke in the 1870's it wouldn't have the same impact on us. As for its historical accuracy, or lack thereof, it's evident that while the basic scenario and time-frame is according to that period in American history (imported Chinese labor and the tension this caused) but the people/characters and events is pure fiction. Even the "Madam" character, who does share her name with a real Madam of that era, is clearly fictional, save for the borrowed name and position, and should not be regarded as an accurate portrayal of any real person.

The anti-Chinese sentiment is well documented and did really exist in the period. Search for San Francisco riot of 1877 as a starting point. The riot originated from a gathering of Workingmen's Party, which was predominately workers of Irish background at the time complaining about unemployment. So the plot line certainly used elements of history at that time.

No, this is confirmed early in season 2 where he directly asks Ah Sahm what he was saying to an american when they're negotiating molasses trades.

No. It was cancelled after season 3.
