I wanted to like this movie more than I actually did. It's quirky, and I liked that. However, I found that I had very little sympathy with the main character, as he had so very little awareness of anything but his own selfish desires. On a similar note, the movie itself had very little respect for life in general, giving it a rather cruel vibe. In the end, I would say the main character ended up with a lot better outcome than he deserved.
Fun and also confronting the debate of cloning and touching the realness of personal loss presented in a pleasant way I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure
Adam Slope (Jonathan Silverman) is a college professor and a genetics scientist. He has difficulty dealing with the death of his beloved wife Dawn (Jennifer Finnigan). With his student assistant's help, he tries to clone his wife but he has trouble recreating her love for him.
Adam's obsession is very uncomfortable. It starts off creepy and never gets pass it. The movie tries to be fun but the creepiness never allows it to be fun. The premise has been done before like in Creator. The Groundhog Day aspect contributes more surrealism than reality. I can live with all the awkwardness but the creep factor wins out in the end.

At the time of writing, the score is 9.2 of 10. I should have known better, no movie ever scores that high, especially one with the plot described on IMDB at the time of writing. But it sounded at least as though it would be half interesting, and I couldn't have imagined that a faked score could be so high and not have some redeeming features. But alas, awful. I fast-forwarded through the last two thirds of the movie, and even watching in 8x speed, I felt I was wasting my life.
Acting was awful, plot was awful, direction awful, this site's credibility of recent times: AWFUL.

When you're watching a movie who clones his dead wife, you know what the premises are. The fun is that he needs her to be the same woman he fell in love with, but that seems more and more impossible. And his selfish motives to make her alive again serves up delightful situations and good plot twists. I had a good time, and yes, I would watch it again.
