A Killer Walks Amongst Us

Wow, this was frustraiting!!

All I could think about watching this movie was that the main character, detective Karen something, is not believable as a human being. Every action of hers is so effing dumb, and I have zero interest in her wellbeing.

Don't waste your time people.

This is a classic who done it, the victim being killed was film. I have so many problems with the plot that it's hard to know where to start. Not a single one of the characters makes sense, the motivations of everybody involved are incoherently stupid.

The only reason I actually watched the whole thing was to find out the final reveal, which certainly wasn't worth it as it made no sense and was insulting to the viewers intelligence. The general acting or direction wasn't awful, but it wasn't good either. This movie will leave you with a lot of questions about the plot, none of them which you will be bothered trying to work out. Do yourself and watch an episode of CSI or Law and Order or any police procedural which is bound to be better than this trainwreck.

This movie demonstrates how a poor script works in a low-budget film. A detective inside the back trunk of a car could get out at the right moment without any tools. And a woman who could carry a man bigger than her size into the back trunk of her car using her scarf to tie him up. Knowing well the man was a detective and when he was thrown into the back trunk of the car, the killer just did that without checking his concealed weapon on his ankle. Voilà, this detective woke up at the right time and freed himself from the constriction of a flimsy scarf, got out of the car, and saved the victim at the right moment. Unconvincing and a lousy ending at the script writer's convenience.
