Oh, goody! An America's Got Talent for kids! I was pretty excited for the show to start. I had great hopes for this show; who doesn't like cute kids doing talented things?
I wasn't disappointed with the kids. They were great. It was Steve Harvey who disappointed. I like him in very small doses; he can be a very funny man. Unfortunately, we're getting him in very large doses. Instead of being funny, he's annoying. He talks and mugs and talks and mugs and then when it really begins to wear thin, he starts talking and mugging again. If I wanted to see Steve Harvey being Steve Harvey, I would have watched The Steve Harvey Show. After all, this show is called "Little Big Shots", not "Big Big Mouth".
If this was going to be another Steve Harvey show, then why didn't they just name this "The ANOTHER STEVE HARVEY SHOW Show".
More cute kids, please....less Steve Harvey.

It is an Amazing show from Steve Harvey, this is the first time I am watching Steve Harvey show's now I have started watching his other shows as well.
Kids are stupendous, fabulous, great talent and very funny. You forget everything else when you are watching this show. Lovely kids, another point which attracted me to this show was kids come all over the globe.
Thanks, Harvey please do not stop this show.

Now in its second season, 'Little Big Shots' is a wonderful variety show the entire family can enjoy. Hosted by the hilarious and incredibly charming Steve Harvey, he presents children from all over the world who possess amazing talents ~ everything from singing, to preaching, to knowing EVERY fact about an American President.
Frequently having children on the program from other parts of the world ~ like China, Japan, and Germany, the show provides an interpreter so the kids will be able to communicate with Harvey and the studio audience. I will admit, however, that sometimes I use my 'closed caption' feature when these young folks are just speaking English, as those little voices might be hard to decipher!
If you're old enough to remember, this show is reminiscent of Art Linkletter's 'Kids Say the Darndest Things', or that same show reprised in the mid 90's by Bill Cosby. But how refreshing to have a wholesome family show that the entire family can watch without reservation ~ which explains why it debuted as the #1 show last season.
Simply said, the kids are all incredibly talented ~ but it's Harvey's interaction with them that makes this show so entertaining every week!!!

Ellen DeGeneres has done a good job showcasing young talent on her show, and those spots have been successful. It's very smart of her to turn the concept into its own show. Steve Harvey (who is also an executive producer) is the right guy to host this show, because he is quick-witted and he provides a comedic bridge between the kids and the audience.
These kids are either very talented or they have a viral internet presence--or both. First Steve sets them down and talks with them, invoking the "Kids Say the Darnedest Things" vibe that Art Linkletter pioneered decades ago on "The Linkletter Show" aka "House Party". Young children can be relied upon to provide unfiltered, quirky interviews that are lovable and hilarious.
Then the kids get to display their talents, which can range from classical piano to auctioneering. From kung fu to dancing. One can only hope that the show keeps up the level of talent displayed in the first three episodes. One four-year-old pianist appears to have what it takes to make his mark in later years. A singer from Croatia, at age 13, could be destined for Broadway.
The show is fun to watch, and both parts of the show work well.

My husband and I have been delighted with these shows so far. They do seem like they are a take-off from America's got talent, etc., but why not? There are so many kids out there that should be seen! I was amazed at their talent as well as their personalities! We really liked Steve Harvey; he was like the "white Art Linkletter" to me; he had a way with the kids that seemed to help them connect with him. I enjoyed his funny faces and the way his eyes expressed so well whatever he was not able to say in words. I liked the chemistry he had with the kids, although I must admit that he sometimes made the show about himself a little, but not enough to really detract from the kids. I suppose that if I was watching him on all of his shows, as the other reviewer mentioned, I would feel that I'd had enough of him, but I haven't, so I wish that there could be many more episodes.
